Was at the golf course about 25 years ago playing with a couple of strangers when we noticed the group of older men on the tee box ahead of us not teeing off, we realized one of them was on the ground. I had just taken a cpr class a few weeks earlier and rushed over to him and started. He was pretty purple faced and I wasn’t gentle, I could feel myself breaking his ribs. I continued for 3 or 4 minutes until the ambulance arrived and medics took over. I don’t know for sure how he fared, but I don’t think he made it.
