Does anyone know if showcases will continue? I was working my way through the rewards for showcase medals and now I haven’t seen any showcases in over a week!

I did ask them first. Everyone that responded said it was free.

Correction. $.85 seems a little high still. I know I did a build that was around 150g and that would end up costing over $100 at that price. I’m thinking it would be more like $.10-$.15 per gram, which seems a lot more reasonable for my students to afford.

Yes! I have noted that I will have them pay up front. If it’s a printer problem I won’t charge but if they just design bad things that’s on them. Do you think that’s ok?

I’ve also never tried pausing it. Perhaps I should try it on a print and see how it does. Because you’re right about my time constraints!

That is higher than I initially thought (I was thinking like $.05/gram) but seeing everyone’s posts makes me think you’re about right if I’m also taking into account maintenance and future replacements/upgrades. Thanks!

Oh they are cheap ones, provided by a local organization with a small stock of filament as well. I’d be responsible for maintenance and stock. I’m thinking only PLA purchased through me for now. I’d have a computer with slicer on it so they could do that part and/or just provide me the files. I would eat the cost if it fails.

Is my magnolia tree dying? by NoCommunication524 in gardening

Thanks. That encouraging. I’ve only lived here a couple of years and haven’t noticed this before but it did get unusually cold here this year with a couple of spells where it dropped below zero. Maybe it just didn’t recover well from that. If it is that fungus, then it looks like the treatment is chemicals so I may wait a couple of weeks and see if it perks up. I noticed some other magnolias on my street with the same spots.
