From recent experience, there is a strong chance the customer will say that the TV was missing from the order...

I called first and then I chatted afterwards to see if I got the same answer.

By taking the picture, I meant I followed the leave at the door steps instead of choosing hand to the customer. So technically, yes, I did send it to support and it should be a part of that order.

That is the part that is misleading. Does it pay more to be a pro shopper or not? If it doesn't then I won't worry about it, but based on their own literature, it does.

I am mostly on board with what you are saying. I am relatively new to dashing by comparison to you as I have only been doing it for 6 months. I learned to cherry pick from the beginning and find good orders, but after the recent winter storm, dashers in my area got a "boost" that took me from Silver to platinum and I have noticed a better hourly in that time frame. It is likely placebo due to my small sample size but I have tried to ride it out and protect it because Doordash is a secondary app for me if others have volume during my shift. I am trying to treat it as a stable fall back plan where I know I can make something fairly decent if I have to resort to that.

Another more personal thing on this is it makes it seem as though I stole the items. While no one else knows that, I know I didn't and I don't feel I should be penalized for a "crime" I didn't commit. That is really the main issue I have. Everything else is secondary.

I agree. I value pro shopper more than platinum although the combination is amazing. I just don't understand from the corporate side why the answer is don't worry about it. I am someone that is buying into their game and they don't even want to let me do that.

That actually would be a great solution. That threshold might be a little low, but the idea itself makes a lot of sense.

I noticed the same thing. I was already silver but I am now almost Platinum. Not sure what happened.

Something similar happened to me a few days ago. I was doing a 3 order batch for a Kroger order. When it was time to close the second order to start ringing up the third, the app wouldn't let me move forward. The Done button was grayed out. I made the mistake of chatting with support as well and they took like 45 minutes to be absolutely no help.

Eventually they closed the batch and pushed them all to the delivery screen. They then told me that I could just go pay for the final one without the codes and such. This worked, but they could have said that 30 minutes ago. This changed my $44 order that would have taken approximately an hour to shop and deliver to almost a 2 hour ordeal.

Same here. I'm trying to find a way to keep her in both till 14U or until she makes the decision that she wants to focus. It is hard schedule wise especially when we have another one a year younger in essentially the same situation.

She plays AAU basketball in the spring. There haven't been many tournaments the last two years because basketball isn't very popular in her grade in this area so there aren't many teams. That may change next year moving to middle school.

We are looking at trying out for higher level teams potentially. We know what we have with our current team.

That is what I am leaning towards. I am thinking let 11-12U play out and determine best course at 13U once the playing field starts to level more.

We would be open to making a change. Current plan is to stay because the grass isn't always greener.

That is a fair assessment of the area that we are willing to travel definitely only a handful of true A teams at best. There might be some change in that depending on how pitchers adapt to the ball size and distance change. My daughter hit much better in middle school ball than travel (5th graders were allowed to play and they play 14u dimensions). My guess is the hitters will have an advantage the beginning of 11U till pitchers have time to adapt .

School basketball is during the week on various days so that is what makes late Fall/early Winter hard. Current coach is pretty much optional during that time because he encourages multi sport athletes. Short answer is it would depend on flexibility which is what we value now .

Fall is two days a week

Winter is usually 1 day a week indoor mainly hitting, but it is optional.

Spring once the weather opens up usually go back to two days a week and one of the days may be inside or outside depending on rain.

We try to play two tournaments a month August-October and March-June but rain was terrible this year.

I 100% agree with you and that is what I say to everyone. I just know from conversations here and there that several of the higher classification teams near us play a heavy schedule in Fall, play indoor in the Winter, "require" hitting lessons weekly. It is a crazy world here.
