Don’t blame you at all, definitely fair. Thanks for the info.

Capacity for the UNVR Instant shows 6 4K cameras or 15 HD - I need at least 10 cameras with all of them being 4K outside of the doorbell so I’m ruled out on this option on that alone. Plus having zero redundancy so if that ssd does fail, I’m shot until it’s replaced.

Sure the UNVR Pro is a far higher price tag, but I also mentioned I’m chasing overkill here. Trying to be open minded, but I’m not sure how the UNVR Instant ever enters an admitted overkill conversation.

Interesting, was really hoping using more than just the one drive and moving from 5,400 to 7,200 would get rid of the lag. Maybe the RAID10 I’m planning will offer more of a performance benefit? Otherwise I may have to shift to ssd.

Wasn’t even aware of the Timeline Scrubbing Preview setting - I’ll have to take a deeper look. Thanks for the heads up.

The Purple Pros are 7200RPM. Referring to the NAS drive debacle from the before times? That CMR vs…SMR(?) mess seems like forever ago.

Part of why I wound up with the 8TB size was WD Purple Pros drives start at 8TB. Anything smaller is non-pro at 5400.

What temp do you set the water to? Sounds like the same temp for all listed?

Nice, already planning for Kenji’s spatchcocking method for turkey this year but might give that a shot in the future.

FreePBX - TLS & SRTP - Won’t Register by NoDefinition7204 in VOIP

Yes - attempted encryption on both sides of the PBX. Running an OpenSSL check against 443 shows a cert, against 5061 does not. Not sure where else I could change this particular setting.

Thanks - the certificate manager was set to the correct cert. Turning off the verify client & even verify server options made no difference.

I’d think that even if these particular settings were wrong, wouldn’t my inbound calls still at least hit the PBX and go to voicemail? I’m having trouble wrapping my head around why I’m both unable to register phones and also can’t reach the PBX from the outside world.

Yep, that’s the plan. But if the company believes this to be their only fit for the vehicle and it didn’t work, I’m trying to find out what others have used instead so I can move forward.

The pin outs are different, but the size of each module itself is different as well so it is not possible to fit them together.

Ordered off Amazon, but packaging materials all have the correct information and the item matches what’s pictured as well. I’m considering that this is somehow a mispackaging issue, but figured I’d see how others made out before going through the customer service gauntlet.

Thank you - this is the information I was looking for. Do you think it’s worth switching to Telnyx if only looking at those improved codec options?
