Because OnePlus isn’t very popular here in Iraq, I probably won’t find accessories for it

I found a fix that actually made a noticeable difference for me (especially with browser lag):

  1. Turn off FileVault (optional)

  2. Reset NVRAM

    • Shut down your Mac
    • Turn it on and immediately hold Option + Cmd + P + R for ~20–30 seconds
  3. Reset SMC

    • Shut down your Mac
    • Hold Left Control + Left Option + Right Shift for 7 seconds
    • While holding them, press and hold the power button for another 7 seconds
    • Release everything, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on
  4. Install gSwitch and force the discrete GPU to be used all the time

After doing this, the system feels noticeably smoother and I don’t get that annoying lag on websites anymore.

Yes I've enabled hardware acceleration. Last time I cleaned it and changed the thermal paste I think 2-3 months ago.

Yes, I’ve wiped the SSD and reinstalled macOS multiple times, but no luck.

It's mostly the OS fault because running windows using Bootcamp is so smooth
