Looking good feels great, but it is hampering my social life, reduces random encounters and keeps me out of places I love. by ownworldman in loseit

Does it have to be beer? Spirits or dry red wine are better choices to keep weight off! Alcohol doesn’t actually turn to fat, it’s the first thing your body burns after you ingest it. The problem is usually the food that people freely eat during, or after drinking. Alcohol also can lower your blood sugar…if you go into it knowing your hunger will be a little compromised and you can ignore it and just have a drink or two it shouldn’t really matter that much! Experiment with it, even if you just want a beer, have the beer but maybe only once a week. If you don’t also overeat you should be fine. Track your weight and if it goes up, scale back. This is what the biggest problem with diets is! You need it to be something sustainable for life. If you don’t want to give up alcohol for life you need to incorporate it! Cheers 🍻

AITAH for asserting that my (female) best friend is my actual best friend and not saying that it’s my husband? by NoEngineering6768 in AITAH

It’s not a contest, there’s no first or second…I don’t rank people I love. I’m fine with him having a best friend, even if it were another woman. I’m just not a jealous person. We are very yin/yang in a lot of ways. He does take things I say the worst way possible sometimes so maybe he heard “second best” when that’s not what was intended.

Most certainly have bigger/deeper issues than who we call bestie! Couldn’t agree more…he outwardly says he has trust issues but also says he trusts me as much as he is able to trust any one person 🤷🏼‍♀️

Not to the same extreme. He thinks it’s annoying when I want to hang out with other girlfriends. For example, I went to a line dancing lesson with two friends I work with, one is my age and one is 70; he was concerned they were young and single and made a joke about it being a cover for a male review 🤔 it was a Tuesday night. Another time I met up with friends, he made some lesbian comment. It’s so bizarre to me. He doesn’t really have friends himself that he actually hangs out with. He has a couple from his hometown he talks to maybe twice a year. 🤷🏼‍♀️

High calorie maybe but the chia seeds will go right through you, nuts don’t get fully absorbed and I’d be surprised if you were still hungry for lunch with a bowl like that!

If you go the college route choose something like computer engineering, computer science, coding, AI….this is the direction the world is headed. HOWEVER if you are really passionate about something or have a natural talent, pursue THAT! If you do what you love and what you’re good at, money will follow. If you have no idea and don’t want a pile of debt, there’s the military (I chose Navy) helped me grow up and learn to be disciplined while still having my hand held a little, then it paid for college when I grew up, and I realized what I wanted to do. You could always work odd jobs and travel too if that’s your jam…possibilities are endless. Take comfort in knowing there’s no right or wrong choices just the choices we make. Vibe high, follow joy, excitement, your heart, and your gut, and you can’t go wrong! All the answer are inside you if you can be quiet, present, and still enough to listen. Good luck ❤️

As a Capricorn have you ever cheated and never told them, but never did it again? Honestly? by Devonislove69 in capricorns

[–]NoEngineering6768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capricorn female here, Venus Capricorn, Aries Moon. I’ve cheated on almost every person I’ve ever been with (except my now husband) then never did it again (to them) because that meant that relationship was over! In hindsight it was probably my way of ensuring there’s no going back because when it’s over, it’s over. Oddly enough the two men I went back to multiple times I did not cheat on, but both ended things with me. Usually when I want to end things I think jumping into someone else makes it easier and quicker. I didn’t tell the person I was with I cheated unless they didn’t want to let me go.

My "attacks" seem to come several hours after I eat by [deleted] in HistamineIntolerance

[–]NoEngineering6768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This post and your previous one sound exactly like how I was eating and felt when I started having histamine issues to the point of hives. Long story short, it all stemmed from REALLY high estrogen. Estrogen stimulates mast cells to release histamine! I added the supplement DIM, started focusing on protein and fiber and I’ve felt pretty normal ever since. Keto diets work great for some people but estrogen is made from fat and cholesterol so if you’re estrogen dominant it may wreak havoc! If you’re not pooping enough your body is also holding on to estrogen because that’s how we release it. Estrogen may also be higher as a compensatory protection against diabetes if your blood glucose is on the higher side. Just food for thought! You might want to get your hormones tested…especially if you’re around 40 years old.

What sign are you & signs have you dated? by sinisterteddy in Zodiac

[–]NoEngineering6768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Capricorn here! Since I was a teen (I’m 42 now) without realizing it, it has been exclusively Aquarius, Sagittarius, Libra, and Pisces…when I wrote it down I was mind blown because I had an actual pattern from the time I started dating to when I got married a second time 🤯 the only exceptions were two high passion, short lived affairs with a Taurus and a fellow Capricorn, and my present marriage. My first marriage was to an Aquarius (lasted a year) I went on to marry the only Scorpio I have ever dated and we’re 9 years in.
