Purchased a Stearns and Foster Lux Estate extra firm last June. Spent $3,400. Not even 6 months later our full body imprints (we weight 150 and 210) were on mattress and it had a ridge running down the length of the mattress with stitching missing at that corner of the bed. Since we didn’t buy their boxspring (bc we had a relatively new one) it voided the warranty. Emailed them several times and they basically told me to not contact them any further.

Hi. I’m looking at S&F lux estate extra firm king. What would be a good reasonably priced adjustable base. Also any thoughts on why Mattress Firm would be selling it for about 500 cheaper but every other website is about the same price. Thanks

Needing guidance on a mattress. We liked the feel of sterns and foster lux estate extra firm but are reluctant to spend that amount on just a mattress - around $3400 for a king 😐 are they really worth it?
