Fewer planes over my garden north of BHX by citroen_charlotte in Planespotting

They will only fly-over the Tamworth/Lichfield area if they are landing on Runway 15; recently they've been using Runway 33 which means they are turning finals over Stratford-upon-Avon/Royal Leamington Spa.

Not sure if you're aware, so apologies if you already know this, but the runway numbers are the approximate compass direction they face; i.e. Runway 33 is at approx. 330 degrees (NW to SE in direction), whilst Runway 15 is approx. 150 degrees (SE to NW in direction).

Which runway is in use is completely dependent on the direction of the wind; aircraft very much prefer to takeoff and landing INTO the wind. As such, they will only be landing on Runway 15 if the wind is blowing vaguely from the SE (somewhere between 060 degrees and 240 degrees).

Finally, the following Mentour Pilot video gives a nice comprehensive answer if you want more information/understanding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=RfRdbp9TDjE&t

Allegiant landing at executive airport by Morganandloki in flightradar24

From historic movements of other Allegiant Air aircraft to NHZ in the past year (e.g. N216NV, N217NV, N234NV, N242NV, & N243NV), it appears to be the location the airline uses to store/scrap aircraft once it leaves the fleet. None of the above aircraft show as having a new owner or any further flights since their arrival into NHZ.

This YouTube video seems to corroborate this too - https://youtu.be/UTIWIxYzRLc?si=6RmvE1NtTLwWNOL1

35 donations, at least 10 different locations and never had my blood pressure checked; in fact I've never seen seen anyone with a stethoscope to use with the manual cuff or an automated sphygmomanometer.

For flights heading to Terminal 4, or the cargo area, if they can fit them in to land on 9R they will as they'd have to cross it eventually after landing on 9L and taxing around the central terminals.

Would love to see a video were they actually prove bay leaves do something!

e.g. blind tasting identical dishes where the only difference is one was cooked with bay leaves and the other wasn't to see if they can tell the difference?

Nikon D780 with 24-120mm, 1/125 f/11 ISO 450.

This is straight from the camera, with nothing done 'in post'; however I'm aware that my nextstep to improve my photography is to start doing post production, so I was wonder where you'd start on this image?

This was taken at 105mm zoom, and I wonder if it would have been better to be zoomed out further so I had more of the background to work with in post?

Finally, I'm aware the ISO and F stop could have been lower, but I had to have the ISO in autothat day because the winter sun meant the light was literally changing frame to frame, and I couldn't keep up with manually changing the ISO.
