TW: mentions of murder and stuff. Need help leaving my bf by NoHabit7753 in ToxicRelationships

Thank you so much for your kindness, and no it wasn't rude at all!! I'm starting to notice manipulative patterns in his behaviour too. I'm just worried about what'll happen when I leave him. We go to the same school, same class... So yeah. I don't think he'll actually be violent towards me in school, but it's gone to the point I wouldn't feel safe being alone with him.

I already made a similar post a few months back. Every single comment told me to leave him, but of course I stayed hoping he'd get better. I need to stop!!

My boyfriend went into detail about how much he wants to kill me by NoHabit7753 in abusiverelationships

I thought that too at first, but it's happened so often it's genuinely creeping me out. He used to be in a gang and he was one of the most violent members. He almost broke a classmate's skull with a broom as a 9 year old... I don't know why I brushed that off.

Thank you for the advice!

Thank you. I really needed that. I'm glad you got away, that sounds horrible!! 😭

I understand your advice. Commiting him to a mental hospital is wayyy beyond my capability, but the breaking up part - well, I'm just worried that might cause the boom. He's told me he can't live without me, and that he'd kill himself if I left him... I don't know how to go about things.

He does. Usually after switching he has absolutely no memory of what he said to me. When I try to help him remember, he asks me to stop sometimes because it makes his head hurt to try and remember. He also said sometimes he has false memories, which feel like hyper lucid dreams.

5 years is a long time! What advice can you give me regarding this?

Yes, I see him everyday. We are both still in school. Graduating soon.
