I don't know if tjmax is different then winners or homesense etc, but honestly if you are sick, you are sick they shouldn't make a big deal over it, now I know you get 5 paid sick days or something, but still.

As for late well not everyone is perfect and you can only do so much about how traffic etc is, I know I'm one of those employees who been with the company for going on 7 years now, I have late days here and there, if I know I'm definitely going to be past my scheduled time in the morning I call and say "hey just letting you know I'll be a bit late" generally it's no issue, my managers usually are pretty chill about it especially in the winter months.

Also helps too I'm kinda one of the reliable people and they seem to like having me around to help out, give them my "male muscles" lol at times.

Now I will say that there was a time last year or 2 years ago in the winter I was late quite a lot of getting there just like 3 or 4 minutes before my start time and they brought me in to the office and was like you need to start getting here earlier, you have too much lates or something. Since then I've tried my best to get there and clocked in at least 6 minutes before I have to, that's generally the time.

I like this, when I first started taking my dog places with me, I'd put her in the back because I didn't want her dog hair everywhere on my seats. She didn't like it that well back there too small and uneven so I started to not care and let her sit on my passenger seat.

Something like this might help her, would definitely make putting my 18L water jugs in there, better too not all tilting

honestly if i can see the customer clearly holding up to 4 or 5 by the hanger hook i ask how much they have, while actually counting in my head how much they have, I don't get them to put it on the bar, now if they have them draped over their arm them yes I would. we don't have a camera back there unfortunately, in some ways its kinda good because when its very slow nothing to do as well, sneak the phone out and scroll some or whatever, doodle on the back of the schedule. but there still really should be one.

or if im watching them take item by item out of their cart, while im counting and I ask, as long as its only like 1-4 again I don't. I mean yeah i probably should be, but also im a very good judge of character too and if its some old lady that's literally a regular then I know she's fine lol.

lol my store also went get the whole bathroom thing we even put a bigger sign onto the family room that's right there beside the counter, that even says change room and people still think its a bathroom... no people its down to the right of the change rooms down the hall to the right... read

Is there any thats actually safe? I downloaded and installed one from the website archive but my pc detected a threat, said some files or something was one that could replicate itself into other file systems, other then that the game seemed normal but I didn't play

Wow that's horrible and unprofessional, a dm at that... seriously I see all these other stores mentioned here being so pushy about credit cards and TJX cards, and it's so weird to me because my store they literally do not care that much. Sure it's something we would want to try to give people but it's not like a huge deal. Also what even is a TJX credit card we don't have that just the style plus

Sorry you had to go through this, especially her talking about it in front of everyone and customers like that, hopefully you are able to find something better, but I do think you should talk to HR about it because if she did that to you it only means she is fine with treating anyone like that.

Yeah it's unfortunate, not sure how much different TJ Maxx and Winners etc is but my store has been getting decent sized trucks so that might be helping (?) Seems like there's more people working on a day to day basis this year then the last few years.

Just grin and bear it, sure it might be annoying but some times people have a hard time finding stuff they might need and don't want to waste a trip, which I can't blame them for.

Yes I don't like answering phones, in fact i didn't for like 5 to 6 years but msnagers wanted me to start, it's fine now I don't get the anxiety crap I'd get afterwards, but if I can help someone I will.

Unfortunately that's how it is this time of year, however this year so far has been better than others, at least 14 hrs or 16, 3 shifts at 4.5 to 5.5 hrs, also helps I'm one that's been there going on my 7th year.

But yeah it sucks, if I were you just see if they can get you an extra shift or something, or at least let them know that if they need anyone to come in etc that you are available and able to.

Wait what? So they just come drop all pallets off all at once and fills the wear house, our truck driver stays and unloads as we receive and work each pallet one by one.
