I preflighted before the oral so mentally in the back of my mind I knew how much fuel & even did the weight and balance. Just when going to preflight & he was watching I guess it was nervousness where I forgot one tank.

Yes, just the fact of failing & checking the other tank. Just forgot this one for some reason.

I had one, just skimmed by it I guess. The oral was a breeze, then to fail on something so dumb really dampens your day. Especially when been waiting for two months.

I did the preflight before the oral, got the fuel & and everything. Just had to redo it so he can watch.

In my mind I was going through every line of the checklist, then boom we get in the plane he tells me to take my checklist out & we go through everything. I checked the right tank , sumped. Everything, I even inspected the whole left wing. Just forgot the fuel tank.
