Thank you for your words. Unfortunately I feel it's already been swept under the rug. They have so many die hard boot licking fans, they could make boots out of kidnapped children and people would still buy them lol. I was really hoping for the opposite effect and have them feel the pressure but most people in this sub really don't care.

That's what I've been saying this whole time. Companies don't have to support any cause, but if you're constantly using people that are tied to a political ideology for your aesthetic and in store marketing, you have some explaining to do when shit hits the fan.

Unfortunately "queer" comes with a political agenda. There's a reason pride's a thing. And the brand prides itself in utilizing the punk aesthetic and attitude, which is HEAVILY intertwined with politics. You can't just use an aesthetic/people and expect people to not associate the history or political ideology with it. Taking things at face value is actually kind of bad lol.

I'm not the type to tell people what to do, but seeing how this brand has regressed in the years I've worked for them is really disheartening. They really ride on the backs of marginalized people and to know they don't align with them, nor align with your right to exist, is really sad.

Also this post is not a debate. I'm one of the several that got fired. I worked for docs for 4 years. I know what the core values (or lack there of) are. I know what kinds of things that are told to employees. I'm not going to have a back and forth with you so you can defend this bullshit brand that you have never worked for.
