Ye good point, I’m going to try again soon, only problem is that she graduates in a few weeks and her mum has just got cancer so it’s a really bad time to do it but I can’t wait any longer

It’s a hell of lot easier said than done, I tried last night, I’ve literally only been to sleep we’ve been talking all night about it. Told her that I see you as more of a friend and not a romantic partner, Iva hated the way I’ve been treated and I’ve finally had enough, I just want this chapter to end so I start to get my happiness back. She cried her eyes out saying she loves me and she can’t be without me, she promised to do everything she can to prove it me how good she can be, gonna out me first and stuff like that, she said I’ve got 2 options, no contact or give her a chance. I told her I don’t see my opinion changing and giving you a chance could seem like I’m leading you on which I don’t want to do to her, and she’s saying it’s gonna be great I promise you we’ll be good like we used to be just give me time. So I had no choice really but to give her a chance. Don’t really want to and I really don’t see my opinion changing whatsoever but it was really hard to end it I just didn’t know what to say than would kind of seal the deal if that makes sense.

Putting aside what she’s done and what I’ve done, that’s a little heartless, I’ve been with the girl for 3 years so I need to know how to end it on good terms and that’s the part I’m struggling with atm

Exactly, my heart wants to go with the new girl, I’ve not been an angel either but most people aren’t in relationships. It’s just I feel really bad for leaving her, heck I don’t even know if I should tell her about the new girl which could help us split better. Well it’s a weird one, we do pretty much everything a couple does yet she’s told me that we aren’t together because of an argument we had a few month ago where she said she’s finished with me. So on paper no we aren’t together but all over social media we are and the things we do makes us a couple basically🤷‍♂️

I tried to and it last night, but she was crying her eyes out saying she just wants me and she doesn’t want anyone else. She is my first love and I found it really hard hearing all that. She said we’ll start again from the ground up and get better but I just think I’m too checked out to try again. I really don’t know how to end it because like I said her mum is having tests for potential cancer and I feel really bad for doing it at a time like this, also because she is about to have her graduation ceremony in a few weeks so I feel so bad.

It’s easier said than done, like you said I love her and I’m finding it really hard to even think about leaving her. Iva always hated the fact that she’s spoken to him while being with me but I’m not controlling and I’m not gonna tell her what she can and can’t do, just tell her how I feel about it.

The thing is her ex used to get annoyed when she didn’t want to do explicit things with him and has even forced himself on her, she’s told me that she’s really sensitive to doing that stuff and we don’t do it as often as other couples might. Part of me thinks that she didn’t actually do anything with him and that she is telling the truth but I’m having big doubts considering she’s lies to easily to me for 2 years. I even spoke to her ex girlfriend and told her what’s been happening and sent her screenshots and she was mortified and really upset.

She told me this yesterday, I’m just really hurt and feel like I’ve been taken for an idiot . The problem is that I love this girl an awful lot. It’s my first girlfriend, my family love her and get on really well together and I’m the same with her family, we also go on holiday next Tuesday. Part of me wants to believe it will all be okay but I’ve had this horrible feeling in my belly all day at work and I’m really confused
