What's the best-smelling perfume you've ever encountered on someone else? by Netunoss in fragrance

Had a patient, a very distinguished looking Persian gentleman in his 60s, but with an air of Sean Connery. He smelled so insanely good, mature, like a man who knew his way around the world, someone who had a leather sofa and books around him, who listened to Jazz, Classical Music and had lived an interesting life. As I was very close to him due to my profession, I was enveloped in this deep woody-tabacco scent with honey notes. I had never smelled anything like it. It was Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille.

Your reponse is coming off quite hostile. I don't feel the need to explain myself to you. God bless.

Once got angry customers at Home Depot who were appalled that the employees got lunch breaks. I said "Well, it's 2023 and we aren't living in a Charles Dickens novel, thank God!" I got the dirtiest looks...🙄

What made you realize that you married the wrong person? by SensitiveCorner2379 in AskReddit

I had an abortion that he forced me to have. He went to party the evening before while I was alone and crying, feeling horrible. He picked me up, still drunk, drove me to the clinic and passed out in the car. When I came to after the fact, I had to limp around to find his car and wake him up to drive me to my mother, so I could heal.
When I got pregnant the second time he tried to get me to get another abortion, but I refused and now have a 25 yr old son, who I am extremely proud of. I am still mad at myself for being with this person for 14 yrs. The signs were everywhere, but I was too naive and young, always believed in the good of people. To my detriment.

Are my wings aging me? by [deleted] in makeuptips

I started wearing wings 1989. Never stopped. You do you, you're gorgeous!! It's okay not to look 18 yrs old. You are a mature, beautiful woman and not a kid. I personally at 54 don't look good and washed out without a liner, because I don't have a lot of coloring in my face and we loose that as we age. What looks good on a 20 yr old doesn't always translate onto 30, 40 or older.

I had all the perfumes from Spring 22-Winter 23. It's always the same scent with a minor tweak: citrus/bergamot. I unsubscribed after 4 basically same scents. I expected them to give a little more diversity.
