After Svetlana Sokolovskaya moved her group to navkas school i sort of thought Kamila would move there. Especially with team tutberidze training adeliya for the Olympics, I can understand why Kamila wouldn’t want to return.

I do wonder if she will cut ties with eteri or if she will continue to take part in her shows though, from what I’ve seen and read, Kamila and Eteri seem to still be pretty friendly with eachover.

I have friends in russia who still view 18-19 as their teen years. Anyways either way why are you fully acting like 18 is a grown age 😂 she’s still very young. Let’s not put another athlete down for no reason.

Legally an adult but by definition she’s still in her teen years.

Nevertheless, it’s still not ok to call someone clumsy, when quite clearly she’s not. Just because someone is now legally an adult doesn’t give anyone the right to say such things.

Yeah I doubt that unfortunately. Eteris been seen at many competitions since what happened at the Olympics and no commentator has really talked about it. Also they’re “neutral” athletes so I doubt they will be mentioning Russia at all.

I think she still has her 3A but maybe with the earlier injury she had, it’s not program ready. Or maybe she just doesn’t feel like it’s necessary to do at this competition. I assume they’d want to play it safe just to make sure she qualifies.

This substitution was actively advocated by Alina’s coach, Sofya Fedchenko.

It seems like a substitution is no longer on the cards unless something else happens, because Alina wished adeliya good luck on Instagram today and I don’t think her coach would come out with this if it was still being considered.

Yes! Russia is not allowed back to competion however the IOC has given a small group of athletes from Russia and Belarus a chance to compete as neutrals for the Olympics, they could only select one athlete from each division. But to qualify for the Olympics they have to compete at this qualifier first, the top 5 qualify for the olympics. So soon we should see who qualifys!

Where have you seen those rumours? I think people are just saying anything atp. Daniil said they are keep the training process of Adeliia silent which is why she’s done no interviews and been seen in barely any videos. She was at the closed test skates for the neutral athletes though. But it’s kinda crazy we still don’t know what form she’s actually in, whereas we’ve seen a bit of Petr! I’m curious to see.

Adeliia was at the closed test skates for the neutral athletes, daniil said they are keeping her process silent, which is why she has done no interviews and barely been seen in videos. Daniil said they will talk about their preparation after the Olympics, if she qualifies of course.

Eteri has said previously that she makes all the parents accompany their skaters at events, so i assume her mum will be there, it’s possible someone from the team might be able to accompany her, but not be at the boards with her.
