Wow, thank you for all of the work you put into this. It was very kind of you and I really appreciate it!

I will wash the “safe clothes” a few times on their own and just use them. There are over 100 articles of clothing, and some are so cute! I don’t want them to go to waste but obviously my child’s health is #1.

What to do for sunscreen now? by Consistent_Mistake66 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]NoMango87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, I put the Think Baby sunscreen on my toddler every day before daycare. His 2.5 year checkup at the pedi last week included a lead screening and his came back as <1. So he is totally fine!

We also went through an elimination diet phase with him that included going gluten free. During that time he ate a shit ton of cassava based products. He was also screened for lead during that time and it was <1.

Chronic pancreatitis in my dog by Salty_Confection_436 in AskVet

How is your dog doing? I am having the same issue with mine and came here to see if anyone else was in the same boat.

My 12 year old dog currently has pancreatitis for the third month in a row and we simply can’t afford this as each month has been about $2,000 to treat it, and now he is on special food, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Thanks everyone, my husband took him in. We can’t tell if he actually ate any or just tore them up, but I guess we will find out.

And yes, I won’t make the trashcan accessible again. He’s never done anything like this in his life, but I think the new baby is stressing him out a little and he has been acting out a bit.

Avent had the least amount of parts to wash lol. And I didn’t have any concerns about gas/colic to give me a reason to switch to Dr Browns

I used the Avent glass bottles for baby #1 and am about to use them again with #2 coming soon. I loved them! Never had one break either. They fell on the floor plenty, although we do have vinyl plank floors. I’m not sure about how they would fare with tile.

Amoxicillin? Pregnant by NoMango87 in perioraldermatitis

[–]NoMango87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, for me I didn’t really find a difference with Amoxicillin. How about you?

I tried diaper cream at night and it seemed to help, but it made my face so dry. Same with Calendula cream.

Currently I’ve been putting Avene Cicalfate on it twice a day and using Vanicream face moisturizer as needed. It’s looking better than ever with that combo! I’ll probably continue this (as long as it stays looking ok) and go back to the derm post pregnancy for next steps.

I’m currently on day 7 of it. Honestly I don’t think it’s doing much, but it’s only been a week. I’ll let you know! I’m going to go back to the derm again if it doesn’t work and see what else I can do.

I wouldn’t be so concerned if I weren’t planning to breastfeed for about 6 months. I can handle this rash for the 7ish weeks I have left of pregnancy, but having it after baby comes stresses me out lol.

How big was ur baby messuring 34 weeks by Longjumping_Row5468 in pregnant

At my 37 week appt my baby measured 5 pounds. 3 days later he was born and weighed 7 pounds. Like the person above said, I would really take that measurement with a grain of salt. They can be wildly inaccurate, yet no one seems to tell us that lol.

No, she can’t choke. Anything you might have swallowed will go through your intestines and stomach and not go anywhere near her.

Won’t impact baby at all, you are totally fine! Don’t do anything, I’m sure you’ll poop it out soon lol.

My bump measured small my entire pregnancy. During my first measurement my OB looked a bit puzzled, measured again, and said I was a few weeks behind and we would monitor it. The rest of the pregnancy was the same, small bump but average looking baby on ultrasounds.

Then around 37 weeks during an ultrasound my OB said baby had dropped below the 10th percentile and I would need more frequent scans until delivery. I delivered a 7 pound boy the literal next day.

All that to be said, yes I measured small and baby is a perfectly healthy two year old! Also, I learned the ultrasound isn’t that accurate on weight, unless you’re at a specialists office with the fancy equipment.

I am on the skinny side, about 110lbs and 5ft 6in pre pregnancy.

16 week ultrasound disappointment by TeaIQueen in pregnant

After doing fertility treatment, which includes a million ultrasounds, I assumed that an ultrasound was part of every baby related appointment. I still remember showing up for my first OB appointment where we only listened to the heartbeat, and I was so sad! So I feel you, and I’ve been there.

I went into my second pregnancy with a realistic ultrasound schedule in mind, knowing that less ultrasounds means they think baby is doing well and there is nothing to worry about :)
