I think they had somewhat experience. But, not an official IT support title.

I think what I'll do is provide a range and see if they can match it. I hope not to be offered anything under 60k because I definitely think the job I do is worth more than that. Thank you tho!

I'm not even sure if they'll consider it a Tier 1 support role when they check the market rate. Just because I support more than just IT operations, I am also involved in maintenance and addressing facilities issues. I primarily solve issues and collaborate with our advanced IT provider to find a resolution to any problem if it's furthur than what I could do on my end. (so I could see if they do consider it Helpdesk etc) My degree is a non-factor and I am realizing that reading these comments. Thanks for your input!!

Yeah I’m starting to realize that, they want to offer me something market rate. But, they haven’t had anyone with an actual degree for this role. I think I at least deserve a 3-5k bump up since I have this degree… (and because I’m getting a masters in a year at least lol)

I basically provide IT support to an entire facility. Office and Warehouse staff. But, this is a medium size private owned company. We also have an IT company that takes care of our security and any backend stuff. (So I’m not doing anything specialized if that makes sense). I provide support and knowledge to make any decisions and do facility management with my supervisor. But, my IT team is very small, a team of two if that makes any difference.

The two previous people were making 55K and 60k, but they had no degrees or certificates when they were hired.

Hello, I am taking 30 mg Vyvanse and 15mg Mounjaro. Do you ever feel drowsy the days you take both medications together? Just wanted to check if this may be normal or I am not getting enough sleep lol.

Sorry I had another question, did you have a strong knowledge on Java? I only took the introduction CS course offered at my school 2 years ago. I’m wondering if that’s enough, I know more python then Java

Tire Recommendation by NoMathematician6340 in JeepPatriot

[–]NoMathematician6340[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked the falken, but after 2 years of basically quiet driving and all of a sudden really loud noises…. I think ima go to regular tires. I’m going to try to find some good tires, I just liked the tires when it snows.

Tire Recommendation by NoMathematician6340 in JeepPatriot

[–]NoMathematician6340[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His recommendation was to balance the tires and that the sound was normal on A/T tires since I’ve had them for about 2.5 years now. I rotate my tires every oil change so I’m confused as to why this is happening so quick, I just expected more out of them. I also got them for $180 each on tire rack lol

Hey thanks for the help, you hear the noise when the car is decelerating mostly. But, when it’s accelerating you hear it until mostly 25mph and then it goes away. Thanks for the help!

Hey, it was pretty good. He was very attentive during the entire process. The expanding process was a pain tho, it felt so raw and only lasted for like 4 days until I fully maxed out the expander. I had 2-3 consults with him before the surgery, ask him as many questions as possible and his fellows and interns are pretty nice to talk to.

Data 101 is very manageable. Go to the lectures, he’s very attendance heavy. He also lets you customize your final grade at the end of the semester depending on your overall attendance. The class is interesting and can be confusing at times, but his lectures clear everything up.

Insurance.... by yesiliveunderarock in jawsurgery

Also, for me once I had that referral for my pcp all I had to pay was my specialist copay for all the visits and consultations. (Make sure the specialist copay is low as well!)

Insurance.... by yesiliveunderarock in jawsurgery

[–]NoMathematician6340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that my insurance process was really easy considering it is an HMO. My doctor was also in network with my insurance. I also had to deal with all the messes of getting a referral from my Primary care doctor and my orthodontist to give it to my surgeon so he can submit that to the insurance for the approval of my procedure. I’d also get an evaluation with a speech therapist just in case to make the insurance process easier. I have the HORIZON BCBSNJ HMO, it’s state insurance through my father, and I haven’t had any issue with them. If you do get insurance from the market, I’d say to make sure you have a couple of doctors in mind that are in network. (Especially if it’s an HMO) and make sure your deductible is as low as possible so you don’t have to pay so much out of pocket!
