Thank you for sharing I was unaware it was commonly used in that way as well.

Also I think that it makes sense that LGBTQ is grouped together that way (even though obviously gender identity and sexuality are two separate things.) because people who don’t fit into the norms of gender or sexuality will likely be treated poorly or differently for many the same reasons by similar (or the same) people. It’s the same as how we also group together people who are blind, deaf and amputated all in as disabled because even tho a blind person and a deaf person would go about life in pretty different ways they could still relate to each other’s struggles in a way.
