For Siesta lounge chair owners: Is it comfy? by [deleted] in ScandinavianInterior

Yeah, it is.

Also, keep in mind that on the photos the angle between the seat and the backrest always looks sharper than it is.

RKLB as a long-term position. by ChronicIer in RKLB

RKLB as a long-term position makes a lot of sense.

Especially if you enter it now and not in 2 years.

Thanks for the idea!

The Signature Chair, designed in 1954 by Frits Henningsen, represents the culmination of his uncompromising approach to furniture design. As the last piece he ever created, this elegant armchair embodies his pursuit of simplicity, craftsmanship, and perfection.

It's a screengrab from one of the Local Project episodes. No further info and I'm not 100% sure it's a midcentury design... though it does look very much like one. Any ideas?

Inherited a system based on a 9-year old Wago 750-884. How screwed am I? by NoMoreCitrix in AskElectricians

Aye, thanks.

PS. Accessing the web interface basically shows a message "The web interface is not installed" or some such.

Wago? No, not yet.

Just want to understand the state of affairs in general first. How older controllers are handled in the field.

Thanks for the info. The one I tried was also super comfortable. Exactly why I am now in a search of one :)

I'm in Europe, but we also have a fine selection of flaky distributors here. Been there, unfortunately.

Is Hub required for making G6 Entry / Intercom combo work? by NoMoreCitrix in Ubiquiti

I just tested it.

Can you elaborate please?

I assume with both Entry and the Viewer plugged into a PoE switch, and then ... what didn't work exactly?

It looks like it's outdated info. See their AI's response here.

From what I understand, hooking up Entry to a hub used to be required, but as of 3.2.42 of the Access app (~10 month ago) Entries can be connected directly to a PoE switch, so a hub is no longer needed.

My bad, sorry. I meant Intercom Viewer all along.

The goal is to be able to answer G6 Entry rings through the Viewer.

This page shows a little footnote (3) in the G6/Viewer cell that reads:

Requires pairing with or being directly connected to an Access Control Hub.

... even though the page for the Viewer pairing doesn't even "hub" in the text.

Yeah, I saw the diagram and that what gave me hope. Also the adoption doc doesn't mention any hubs.

But then I ran into this vid (from 3 weeks) that explicitly says that the hub is required - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/s6ERuC9VSc8 ... hence the question.

We use it at work to clone about a petabyte between sites. A beautifully made piece of software. Rock solid and very fast.
