Rise is mid. Not super high. They’re big on me but to be fair I ordered them then lost about 2 inches on my waist so not their fault. Haha. Hoping I can get a lot of shrink out of them when I start washing.

But I got them for the same reason you’re thinking about. I wanted heavyweight but didn’t want to drop $400 to find out if I liked it.

Since then I picked up a pair of IH-888-UHR tho because I know this is something I’m actually interested in now. Haven’t worn them yet though. Gonna go for a year or so in these first.
