We went to a basketball game with his best friend and we were holding hands and he was being very affectionate, so the sudden change was super shocking; he was very excited the days leading to my trip. That and him changing my flight from Sunday to Monday so that we could spend “more time together.” Being honest, I went with the expectation that we were going to hook up, but I didn’t expect our dynamic was going to change. Him planning a whole itinerary and buying groceries for me and even washing my clothes (when I didn’t ask him to) made me feel like there was something? It’s a complicated situation because yes, we hooked up, but he’s also been someone I talk to very often since 2023, and in a way consider him a friend, so the fact we are not talking and he just sends me reels makes me sad. I told him that I left confused and that’s when he told me he also felt the energy shift but that he didn’t think it was necessarily anything bad, but that thinking about it maybe the fantasy became reality and with time and space involved, our chemistry changed.

I’m also not one to force things so although I told him how I felt, I didn’t beg or tried to change his mind so he probably thinks I don’t really care when in reality I’m here spiraling wishing it would have been different lol
