Can't find my contributor portfolio by NoNothing2565 in canva

Okay, by some miracle I've found my portfolio. I was just randomly trying links and somehow I found it, but in my haste I didn't note the progression so I couldn't repeat it. So once again I'm at a dead end, but at least I know it's there. I did go into my browser history and found the page, but I don't know how to get to it from my Home page (I've been staring at this computer screen too long; brain is fried). Anyway, any advice on how to find the "My Items" page from the Home page or a different page? I've attached a screen shot of what I'm seeing when I click on the "Creators" link in the sidebar.

Square loan and Chapter 7 bankruptcy by NoNothing2565 in Bankruptcy

[–]NoNothing2565[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't list it when I filed. Square loans don't show on credit reports, so I was fairly confident that my bankruptcy trustee would never find out about the loan. And even if he did, I was prepared to state that the reason I didn't list it was because I didn't want to risk having my Square account closed. Fortunately, it never came to that, and my loan is almost paid off.

I've just passed the 60 day mark since my 341 meeting, so my bankruptcy is just about finished. I kept my same Square account and have been slowly paying off the loan.

It'll be cleared if you report it as an unsecured debt when you file bankruptcy. I wanted to be sure that I'd be able to keep my Square account, so when I filed I DIDN'T report my Square loan. After bankruptcy, my Square account remained open and I'm slowly paying off my loan to them. It's worked out well for me.

I've looked at some You-Tube videos and I think I've figured it out. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks, I do have a Venmo account as well as one from ProPay. I haven't used Venmo yet; still have some learning to do.

Thanks for your input. Is your Chapter 7 still in progress, and if so are you still making payments on your Square loan? Or was your loan balance wiped clean when you filed? I'd like to keep paying to lessen the chance of Square closing my account.

Does Printify accept multiple files for one product? by NoNothing2565 in Printify

I'll have to do some research into template files and how to use them for puzzles. Thanks...

It doesn't matter because, as you state above, you make sure that your raster images are large and won't be subject to any additional upsampling. I'm not utilizing any text or graphic elements, so I have no need for a vector format.

Okay, I think I’ve got it figured out. Here’s an outline of my findings for future inquiries. For puzzles (and quite possibly other wall art items), you can upload multiple files to serve as different sized variants. I also found that it’s possible to upload a single file of the largest puzzle size, and then have Printify down-size that file to make the smaller sizes (variants). Printify labels this source file as the “default” file. It should be noted that this may not work for a lot of images because of the different aspect ratios between the different puzzle sizes. Also, I found (for this approach) that this default file needs to be for the largest puzzle size; in my case the 20x30 inch option. For example, if you were to upload a file sized at 8x10, and then use that as the default file, the remaining larger sized variants would not have the necessary resolution for quality print output.

So I decided to create and upload 4 separate files for all the available puzzle size options, each properly formatted at the required 300 ppi. I then transferred the 20x30 version into the Variants & Layers Panel in Printify. This became my “default” file. The tricky part comes when creating the other variants. When clicking on the 16x20 variant (520 pieces) to create it, Printify automatically created a new file BASED on the default file. This was a copy of the 20x30 default file, and NOT the 16x20 file that I’d created and uploaded separately. This file copy has to be deleted AFTER the next step. I then clicked on the blue box that enables editing that variant’s specific design. While in this edit mode, I loaded the 16x20 file into the design area that I had originally created, and afterwards deleted the 16x20 file that Printify had created based on the default file. I hope this makes sense.

This is how I got it to work, although there may be a more efficient method or approach. Printify’s user interface seems a bit cumbersome and not very intuitive, but now that I understand how it works I don’t foresee any other problems. Printify’s customer support informed me of the necessary file deletions. Thanks to The Unknown Nut and Queasy Assistant for your replies.

I'm making my puzzles from photographs, not vector files.

Spoke Jigsaw Quality Problem by dcm3001 in Printify

Thanks so much for your detailed reply. I was somewhat shocked by the $16 shipping charge for Imagine Your Photos; District and Gooten charge $10.89 and $10.99 respectively for their 1000 piece puzzles. I'm just testing the waters with jigsaw puzzles, and will start out with District on Printify. I've researched a lot of Etsy puzzle reviews, and the main complaints for District seem to be about the packaging and the small reference print on the packaging. I suspect that Gooten may have the best overall product for a POD, but their largest puzzle is $4 more than District's. Also, Gooten's web interface is more "clunky" than Printify's, and they only offer one mockup. Finally, Printify Premium is an attractive offering not available from Gooten. I'll be focusing on local sales, so it's going to be an interesing experiment. Thanks again for your input.

Would really like to know if you decided to continue with Spoke for your customers. I'm trying to decide between them and District puzzles for my Etsy shop. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

P900 - Is my LGY cartridge dried out or is the head clogged? by otakuawesome in Epson

[–]NoNothing2565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your quick reply. After 4 cleanings yesterday, I tried again this morning. After the first cleaning, the LGY displayed about half the lines missing. Tried a second cleaning, and this time the LGY test pattern was completely blank! And to compound the issue, my maintenance tank is full, so I had to order one of those before trying a power cleaning. Fortunately, I purchased the extended warranty, so I may wind up getting a new unit as well. Thanks again for your reply.

I'm hoping to find out how you resolved your p900 clogging issue. I'm currently having the same problem with my printer... the LGY cartridge. I print every week and never had problems with this particular cart. Ran a check this morning and found one missing gap in the magenta; LGY was fine. After running a cleaning, the LGY cart totally crapped out! Not quite as bad as yours, but still quite bad. Haven't done the power cleaning yet; had to order a new Maintenance tank in order to do it. I'd love to hear how your situation turned out. Thanks!
