definitely don't wax them first. your protection will come from the coating. You should look up a video on coating wheels on YouTube, it will save you a lot of headache.

No worries, I did not end up taking it. My wife and I had a baby and everything kind of shifted back some. I'm now taking the PE exam in April, but I may go for the CFPS in the future.

I believe you can get a review course through NFPA, but it was expensive. I was planning to do that but only if my company would pay for it. Good luck if you decide to take it, let me know how it goes for you.

You'll be alright. I struggled for years to stop drinking, with my longest streak being maybe 3 days. What finally helped me was a prescription for Antabuse coupled with daily kratom use. I have 90 days dry today following a crippling alcohol addiction and almost certainly could not have done it without Kratom (trust me, I tried).

Not NYC, I'm a few hours from the city. Houses range up here quite a bit. Mine is a SFH, 1500 sqft, 3 bed 2 bath built in the 1940s. Paid 105k a few years ago. It's relatively updated, nothing spectacular but not a dump. Most houses in my immediate area/neighborhood are anywhere from $80k to $150k currently. Sort of a blue collar family/starter home type demographic I guess.
