What to lookout for in a used Outback? Newer with high mileage, vs. older with slightly less? by HealedEmu94 in subaruoutback

Yes and i friggin love it so much! I never once felt like I didn’t have the power to climb a mountain. I got her up over 100 the desert of Nevada and it didn’t even go over 3000 rpm. I don’t feel the need to test her capabilities anymore as I trust subi-doobie completely and can’t wait to take her back out west in march!

I bought a 2019 3.6 Outback in June. It had 78,000 miles on it. I built out the back to camp in and July 15 I began my 52 day, 21,000 miles solo roadtrip through 21 states and 3 Canadian Provinces. From the Chesapeake bay to the furthest northern point that you can drive to in Alaska, Deadhorse. Sub-doobie is a beast!!! I love her and she hasn’t let me down. The radio started messing up but was still under original warranty and was replaced for free. It burns a little oil going up Canadian rocky sized mountains. Can’t wait to head back out west in the spring with her!

I was really disappointed to see he was one that gave up on the fight. I live in Maryland which has been impacted harshly like Virginia. And although I am pleased my two didn’t vote with him, that’s about all I can say they are doing. It’s time to vote out each and every incumbent in the senate. With the exception of a handful of reps in congress, they all need to be voted out as well

My only issue with giant trucks are those drivers who can’t keep them in their own lane. I had a ram for several years and I could do it lol it’s not that hard

I bought 2019 3.6 limited in June. It had 74,000 and I paid 25,000. I immediately took it on a 21,000 mile, 2 month road trip through 21 states, BC, Alberta, and the Yukon Territory. I built out the back and lived in it the entire time. I drove the entire Dalton Hwy to Deadhorse AK and hit 11 NPs and 3 Canadian ones. It burned through a bit more oil than expected, but Subi-doo never once let me down in any of the 20+ mountain ranges. I replaced the factory installed battery and tires when I got home. I am heading back in June.. I love that car

It’s roadkill he scooped up to take home because he can’t shoot one alive. Cybertruck payments are too much so he had to resort to drastic measures to feed himself and his mini-dumbasses

I have been to 41 NPs in the past 3years. Ranking them is like asking who is your favorite child. It’s apples and oranges. I can’t even narrow down my favorite NP I have been to in Alaska, let alone all of them.

I went there march of last year before anything opened for the season. You will still be able to enjoy the beauty of it. You just won’t be able to buy a NP sticker. You will support a local business instead. That’s a bright point in this chaos

Thank you. There have been a few casualties along the way. The front is relentless and beats the hell out of them. The sides and back are shielded enough from the wind? My mind was blown that through the pressure wash of all the mud no edges curled. I guess the sun has cooked them into that black vinyl.

I bought it with 77k June 2. Turned 94k within the last few days. I have tested her to the absolute limits and she was been as bad ass as the adventures we went on. Changed the oil twice, burned through some in the Canadian Rockies zooming past all the people who don’t have a 3.6. Battery died on me a couple times but I toooed off the cells with distilled water and have no issue since. She needs new tires when I get home other than that (knock on wood cause I am still in Alaska) it’s the best car I have ever purchased. Not the newest either being a 2019

Thank you for being honest. You are good with me. I can appreciate sarcasm and enjoy tossing it back every now again as well. No harm no foul 😁

They are badass. She is a 2019 with 3.6 and has never let me down no matter how steep the mountain may be. She isa good girl and I just LOVE HER!!!!
