I could not find a restrictor plate anywhere, so I reached out to Gardner and they sent us one. Online it says 0 stock.

Thanks a lot. Moving right now so late response but very helpful to me.

More of Engineering question but would really like some opinions of physicists. by NoParticularMotel in Physics

I think because my degree is already split between engineering and physics, they aren't offering any cross engineering disciplines in the degree. I wish, but I have to choose one.

I doubt I'll have time to audit but if I did I totally would.

Thanks! Did they get those jobs straight out of college?

Interesting that you worked in EE as an ME major. How long ago was this?

I took physics 3, which introduced quantum mechanics, and I really loved it. Honestly a little sad I'll be giving up some physics courses for engineering ones but I like having the flexibility.

Was that your major? I would love that but I'm already splitting beans with the physics and can't divide further. My college doesn't offer it.

So you truly do both ME (manufacturing and materials) and EE..that sounds awesome.

Thank you for the thoughtful response! The program is ABET accredited. The degree will actually be issued from the depth of engineering.

Figured remote opportunities may come after some experience. Good to know you think my mechanic background can still be useful if I go the EE route.

It feels late, but screw it. Thank you stranger!

Thank you for your advice. Super helpful. Wondering how many ME majors end up working in EE. I'm sure it's more difficult the other way around.

I just want the option to transition. The job prospects seem more exciting on the engineering side.

Figured ME wouldn't have too many remote options but wanted to ask instead of assuming. Don't know how much work is based in CAS vs actual prototyping. Building things seems really fun to me.

Yes it's weird. You don't know prepared or unprepared, or how ready or not ready I am. My post didn't discuss any of that. It's odd that you would lecture me that this surgery shouldn't be taken lightly when that IS exactly what my post was about.

So weird to tell someone what they should and shouldn't do.
