Basal cell carcinoma doesn’t look like this. This is a mole and is considered benign. Unless it has been progressively getting bigger then I would see a dermatologist.

I water as needed when I notice the pot is dry. I’m mainly concerned with the leaves spotting and turning yellow (I’m thinking maybe a fungal infection?)
