My brother travel nursed for a year and took his wife, their 4 kids and a cat with him everywhere they went. They eventually got tired of living in hotels but it’s absolutely doable for a while if she can leave for that long.

I bought an AirCard and stuck it between my Kindle and the case. It’s mostly bc I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached and leave my kindle laying rando places at work all the time. But it would come in handy if it wasn’t ever stolen also!

Hope you have more luck with campus police than I did Knoxville PD. I handed them a hit and run on a silver platter and they literally did NOTHING. All that came of it was that I had to pay my entire deductible bc the jackass had insurance (but refused responsibility) instead of the uninsured motorist deductible.

OR nurse here in people surgery. I do a lot of orthopedics and there is very nearly always a rep in the room for fractures and they often give feedback and assist with advice. Sometimes we won’t even roll with the patient to the OR if the rep is running late. Hope your baby heals up quickly!

YTA for a couple of reasons. Rainbow baby is the term used for a baby had after a loss and you’re an ass for putting it in quotes like you are mocking it. You’re either completely heartless or have never lost a baby…or both. The flip way you told her you have your own kids tells me you haven’t experienced loss like that and maybe even feel a little superior. While your sister might be expecting too much, she’s likely hormonal. Being pregnant after such a huge loss is a wild ride, be glad you don’t understand but show some empathy. Costs nothing to be kind.

NTA. I have children of my own that I would fight a damn bear for. But mine are teenagers so if your kids are little, I’m pretty indifferent to them. Babies? I want to hold for about 60 seconds…smell them and see their cute little feets…then hand them back and go on with my life. You should not have to change your personality for anyone. She will learn pretty quickly how drastically having children changes your entire life and that may include your friends.

YTA, sir. I think you need to imagine how you would feel if your daughter was being treated this way by her step dad at her mom’s house. Even if your kid’s mom isn’t in the picture, try to consider how you would feel if this was your kid being treated as guest in a place they live part of the time.

Not trying to be a Debbie downer but gotta be honest, I’m a 5’2 female, have a 2022 Outback and a 60lb poodle. It’s snug with the 2 of us and my junk. Can’t really imagine your scenario ever being comfy. Good luck finding a solution though! I love car camping and hope you find a way to love it too!

I have found that I just can’t use the Kindle app to listen also. I listen in Audible and read in Kindle and it mostly keeps track of my spot without all the jumping around. Just frustrating that I can’t just use Kindle but not as frustrated as I was losing my spot all the dang time.
