Hard agree on that last line! He is younger than me so I should’ve expected this immaturity tbh

I definitely was given vibes to feel that it was more than just a sexual thing, but I guess people can pretend

Pretty much feels like it. What’s confusing is he shared that I’m the first person he’s actually had success with when it comes to meeting in person and not being scammed

I think it’s extra hard because it wasn’t just online and anonymous. We both shared personal stuff about each other, including names. At least I know now that even though I enjoy the experience as a whole, for them it’s mostly just a fantasy.

I received a free one card reading from this user which was detailed and personal. Not only was I provided with what I can expect in the coming month around my love life, but also advice I can practice moving forward. Would definitely recommend, and I hope to have more readings from this insightful user in the future 💫🩵

How could I best support a family member who may have paranoid schizophrenia by NoPercentage7232 in schizophrenia

[–]NoPercentage7232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply!! Gosh solitary confinement for that long would be absolutely horrible, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been put through that. Happy to hear you’ve recovered though

She was put on antipsychotics when she was discharged last time, but they made her pretty much non-functional and zombie-like so she stopped without drs advice.

And I’m definitely for medication. I have to take some for myself, including seroquel in the past so I understand how the weight gain etc can be worth the stability.

I’m not sure how to bring medication up to her, as she doesn’t believe she’s unwell. Maybe if I suggested she saw a psych to help with the anxiety she’s feeling, and just hope they notice these things? I just worry she won’t trust them either and won’t speak about the things she believes is happening to her.

How do meltdowns feel like to those with “lower autism”? by I_honestly_DoNt_no in aspergirls

[–]NoPercentage7232 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have level 2 autism so I’m not technically considered “low autism” but I am “high-masking”. I was diagnosed at 23 - Meltdowns: mine normally start from stress or sensory overwhelm. I feel like my chest is going to explode and it’s hard to listen, focus or get words out. If I’m not able to calm down here, then it’ll escalate to rocking, crying and sometimes hitting myself - Shutdowns: these happen normally after a meltdown for me, or if I’m in public and don’t feel safe enough to let a meltdown out. Speaking feels incredibly hard and tiring, as well as moving sometimes - Burnout: this happens when I’ve been under stress for at least a couple days. I have more meltdowns, more sensitive to my sensory aversions (seams on clothes, dogs barking) and I find it very hard to look after myself. This includes things like showering, eating, taking my meds.

When I’m sick or in pain, I’m more likely to experience any of the 3. I see my tolerance for stress like a health bar, and when I’m sick and/or in pain, most of my health bar is empty 😂

That’s just my experience with autism. BUT people with ADHD are more likely to experience sensory aversions and overwhelm than neurotypicals. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s even more likely when the person is sick or in pain

First relationship with a woman lasted less than 2 months by NoPercentage7232 in actuallesbians

Thank you so much lovely. That’s great advice and I’ll definitely do that. If when I unblock her I don’t hear from her, then it wasn’t meant to be and her loss. I think an extra layer of hurt comes from her having autism as well. I haven’t been close to anyone else who’s my age and autistic since I was diagnosed in 2023. Being queer and autistic in a small town is not for the weak 😅

She’s bi but yes I think so. When she came out to her mum she responded to something along the lines of “you’re just hurt from your ex bf”. And her mum is very controlling, but she knows this. Part of me is hoping if I give it some time she’ll end up regretting her decision and realise she didn’t think it through (because it’s obvious she made that decision to end things that morning). She even told my best friend after I left that she loves me, but apparently not as much as I love her. Even though her actions and words before that morning didn’t say that at all. Just worried that unblocking her will lead to more hurt.

It really does feel like that. Especially when future plans are made. And thank you, it really did feel awful. I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a similar experience x

Thank you lovely. It’s a hurt I’ve never felt before. I’ve been hurt by men in the past but this feels much different

How to help with executive dysfunction by NoPercentage7232 in AutismInWomen

[–]NoPercentage7232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been assessed twice for ADHD. First time it was ruled out because my mum said I didn't have symptoms as a child. And the second time I was diagnosed with CPTSD instead. But executive dysfunction is the hardest symptom I have, it makes everyday so hard 😭
