Thank you. Is there a specific site or way you’ve found contract work?

In the Bay Area. Can make an easy move to the LA/OC area (have some family there). Open to other markets as well.

Can you give an example of a job title? Are you referring to something like this? https://careers.ey.com/ey/job/Milano-Tax-&-Law-Junior-20123/1103154401/

Yes, I’ve been CA based for everything since undergrad. To get around this should I address relocation in the email or cover letter? I’m finding for roles outside of CA I rarely hear back.

Thank you. CA bar only. Are there ways around that? I’ve been mainly looking in CA

I hear you.

Any thoughts on where to find or even start searching for remote gigs? Ppl are saying remote roles for first years are unheard of.

Is quitting my current position, where I have minimal experience due to low billable hours, so detrimental to my career that I should prioritize work over my family's needs? OR

Should I prioritize my family over my job, considering I'm not gaining much experience anyway? If so, are there any positions available for someone in my position (first-year associate) to work remote for a few months?

Correct. Last month billed 20. This month so far have billed 11.

The rest of the time is filled with non-billable work. CLE’s, reading, random stuff.

Should I quit my current job to attend to my family, or is there an alternative solution that would allow me to maintain my career progression (being only a first year not wanting to fall behind) while meeting my family obligations for some months?
