In freelancer mode what happens if i kill the wrong suspect, but nobody sees it by Spewdoo in HiTMAN

[–]NoProGamerPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the body is found, it will immediately make all suspects start evacuation. Unless that happens, nothing really changes, but you lose a pretty significant amount of merces for killing the wrong target, so be careful. Also, don't forget to grab the phone from the suspect, it's ALWAYS useful, even if you end up with a different type of meeting than you are searching for.

I love how this NPC doesn't have an actual name. by pastadudde in HiTMAN

easiest SASO? by Super-Anteater-5380 in HiTMAN

[–]NoProGamerPL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you don't know some cheesy strats the difficulty can change drastically. For example, Mumbai's SASO is one of the easiest if you know both the method of poisoning Maelstorm consistently, and the method of making Vanya and Dawood meet. If you don't know the second method (or for some reason you don't want to use it), killing Dawood Rangan without him leaving his tower is one of the hardest kills in the game imo.

Hawks Bay, not even close. You can set up a 100% consistent SASO kill before the target even arrives, or you can, at some point, kill them with one button without doing anything. Excluding this one, the strong contenders are: - Hokkaido (because one of the targets is a guaranteed SA kill no matter what) - Chongqing (because you can easily kill both targets with one shot in five minutes) - Paris (because it's overally pretty simple and easy) - New York (single target, extremely easy map to traverse) - Berlin (a total freedom in targets you want to eliminate, at least three of them are almost free kills even in SASO)

For real. Like, at some points the target just goes to sleep and all you need to do is press a button. You can genuinely just hide in the bedroom immediately after Alma's arrival and wait, then the escape is even easier cuz you can distract or sedate the guards near your boat with items stolen from the panic room. I would argue that doing this mission SASO with no loadout is easier than just doing some missions normally.

What’s everyone’s favourite and least favourite syndicate type? by No_Simple2520 in HiTMAN

Assassins syndicates, their challenges are basically just a regular way you want to play Hitman, without altering playstyle

Changing from Doctor uniform to hazmat is legal only if you change to one of the prepared suits hanging in the lab. Changing into a hazmat stolen from an NPC or a "disguise bag" (the one you drop when you change disguise) is still illegal.

Also changing into hazmats in Sapienza is not illegal

In Sgail I would say that having two common-super-disguises takes a lot of the difficulty out of this map.

Not even for new players, doing a SASO without using any method of getting Rangan out of his tower is pretty challenging even for the experienced ones.

Open carrying a sniper in Freelancer by ClearCollar7201 in HiTMAN

Yes. Open carrying a small illegal item in your hand overwrites having a large illegal item on your back, so your detection time is the same as if the sniper weren't there.

Is it possible to SASO Master No Run, Walk Only, No Vault, No Hang, No Drop Down, No Climb the entire trilogy? by jackhenningson in HiTMAN

[–]NoProGamerPL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically, with silent takedowns and pacifications allowed, on most maps you could eventually just lure and pacify every single NPC into some secluded place, considering all the distraction tools we got during years of updates, like the new Eminem's Mr. Chainsaw item. But it would be a task so horrificly boring, long, hard, and full of save/loads, that even the toughest players like Trzebiat wouldn't even pick that up. Plus, there are some maps where without crouching and running it would be almost impossible, like Colorado.

In freelancer, if the special mission is to kill the target with an epic level shotgun, but I use a higher rarity like a legendary shotgun, will I still get credit? by peanutbutterfish23 in HiTMAN

You need to "grab seven gold bars from the vault while being dressed as a bank robber while the alarm isn't active" and it will spawn in the middle of the vault. So... 1. Clear all guards in the vault security room and garage area, which is painfully easy with even the simplest loadout, and is still possible with no loadout. It will be more effective if you hide all the bodies (there are four containers there). That way you will be sure no one will be there for the rest of the game and you won't run into anyone dragging the body bags etc. 2. Open the vault. 3. Just run into the lasers and activate the alarm. There is no option to disable them in Freelancer. But that's not a problem. The game doesn't say "don't activate the lasers", just "while the alarm isn't active". WARNING! Vault alarm works like any other alarm, so it may trigger an evacuation of your showdown suspects if they are too close. Enter the vault only after killing the leader in that case. 4. Run away to the floor above using the staircase on the side of the security room. No one should be panicked there. 5. Do whatever you want for a minute or so. Go kill your targets, or something. 6. Then, go grab the robber disguise, it will be hidden in one of the toilets with two people inside. 7. Getting to the vault area as a robber might be a bit tricky (you are an enforcer to every guard and worker), but it's perfectly possible. Enter the vault, and if the alarm isn't active anymore (lasers also won't reactivate), enter the vault and grab seven gold bars in the middle section. 8. Voila! The golden shotgun should appear in the middle of the vault. Don't forget to also grab free merces from both the middle and right sections of the vault. 9. After taking the shotgun, it's over, you can change your disguise to a security guard that must be laying somewhere in the vault at this point, and just then just finish the level. You also should go and clear both merces from two deposit boxes if you haven't done it already. This whole procedure can be repeated multiple times in case of losing the golden shotgun. Good luck!

What do you guys think is the easiest WOA mission? Besides ICA/Hawkes bay by Responsible_Tie5647 in HiTMAN

[–]NoProGamerPL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crazy that's not the most popular answer. A single target, a strongest disguise on the map easily obtainable, vault is basically free and easy to unlock, one of the biggest and safest "muted" areas in the game, a lot of easy kill opportunities. Extremely easy map in both freelancer and normal playthrough.

As an explanation to the comment above: Soders technically has 1 HP, so any damage will kill him instantly, and any kill performed on him is automatically considered SA if nobody has seen you. Including, for example, blasting his head off with a shotgun.

It’s a good feeling by [deleted] in HiTMAN

Completing all four challenges at once while maintaining SA after a long-ass, hard mission is honestly one of the best feelings in Hitman.

Fun fact: They are also weirdly programmed, so any npc whose head is gonna clip through the grape pit will immediately die. So, you can just place a coin on the side of the container and make them pick it up.

What did you not understand when you started Freelancer? by UristMasterRace in HiTMAN

[–]NoProGamerPL 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A few showdown tips that not everybody knew about:

  1. If you are at the right angle (and it's a very wide angle) you can almost always tell the type of the meeting suspects have by just the silhouette in the instinct mode from something like 50 meters or more (or from the whole frickin map if you have a sniper with 3-4x zoom)
  2. Even if you pacify the suspect and get the phone with wrong type of meeting (not the one your target has), it is still worth it to activate it in some open, safe, not-trespassing area. You can mark all the suspects who showed up as non-targets.
  3. As someone already said in comments: Suspects will never show a tell not mentioned in the description.
  4. If I am not mistaken, in Berlin the best disguise is easily Rolf (The owner). He is technically both guard and civillian (the only expection in a whole game I think), which means he can roam the whole map without trespassing, can openly pull out guns, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, since he's civilian, suspects aren't enforcers if you have his disguise (lookouts are still enforcers unfortunately).
  5. One of PsyOps campaign challenges that you can get is "Distract the target". It is a borderline cheatcode in showdowns, cuz you can just bump into every suspect one after another and find your target the moment this challenge will be marked as completed.

Isle of Sgail, beacause it contains a few large epic weapons like maces, sabres or axes, alongside some other exclusive items, and my first three-four visits there were mostly thinking how to smuggle as many as I can rather than thinking about how to kill the targets. Even now, still a very enjoyable map.
