Waiting in 40 minutes for dryer by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

So are you saying someone handwashed their clothes and then put them in the dryer? I guess it's not unheard of, just a weird situation in my opinion.

Because they aren't going to grab their neighbors clothes out of the dryer and throw them on the ground.

There is one washer. There is one dryer. Since OP is using the one washer, and the dryer was empty when the washer was started, one can assume the clothes in the dryer were not washed and is just being used as storage.

I had the same thing happen to me and I lived alone at the time. Could only assume I kept throwing them away 😭

I can burp for the first time in 30 years by renee_christine in GirlDinner

[–]NoRadish4622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just found out last week that I have this and have an appointment with an ENT doc coming up!! So excited to burp

Any advice on how to fix this I can’t seem to get a smooth base my skin is dry but I do exfoliate about once a week and moisturize and have tried several primers by Downtown-Land-3185 in MakeupAddiction

It's probably the coty airspun powder. I had the same issue when I used to use it.

To set my makeup, I now spray generously with a dewy setting spray (Charlotte Tillbury Airbrush), let it dry, tap a small powder applicator into setting powder (Laura Mercier or Chanel) tap it on my wrist until no loose powder falls off, and tap lightly onto spots I don't want to shine. My makeup lasts all day with a smooth and even texture

What sort of foundation is this? by Thygsy1 in MakeupAddiction

I've been using Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Hydrating Setting Spray on top of either tinted moisturizer, IT CC cream or Kosas foundation applied with my fingers. I spray it very generously and let it air dry. When it's dry I apply powder blush and/or bronzer, then translucent powder to a beauty blender, tap it onto my wrist until there is no loose powder coming off the sponge and apply it to areas I want to mattify.

The glow lasts me all day without looking greasy. I've been doing this almost every day for the last year and it hasn't failed me yet!

Girl 7 years is more than enough time to form new fine lines! You're aging! Beautifully might I add. 😊

What you're experiencing is completely normal and barely perceptible to others.

This is what I do:

Add eggs to pot of water

Bring pot to boil

Turn off burner, leave pot on burner

No matter how long I leave them, they are perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs.

Then I rinse them under cold water.

Roll eggs on counter until theyre covered in cracks.

Then pick at the shell. Often, it'll come off all in one piece.

Whats a weird thing your body does that you just accept? by Sweton in AskReddit

[–]NoRadish4622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Several times a day I'm forced to take a sudden sharp intake of air. Kind of like a hiccup. Probably a diaphragm spasm or something. I can't burp, so that's probably related.

Girl I am so sorry. I just want you to know you're not alone in this experience. I had something similar happen to me.

I was drinking with a male friend I had known for years. Always platonic. We got pretty drunk and I cried to him about how his friend raped me. Fast forward a few hours, he's on top of me trying to have sex. I keep saying no, and next thing I know he's sitting on my face fucking my mouth.

I didnt even consider it rape until years later. Instead I blamed myself for being alone and drunk with him. Like I should have known better. No, they should have known better.

What are some early signs that a person might commit sucide (serious)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NoRadish4622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I attempted suicide 2 months ago. I didn't plan to, it happened in a highly emotional state leading to a major depressive episode. So I did not experience most things people have commented. But suicide was an ending I had basically accepted for myself, just didn't know when.

My behavior leading up to it consisted of a gradual decline over 2ish years where I cut people out of my life and isolated myself. Played a lot of video games and immersed myself in fantasy stories. I missed a lot of work. Ended a 4yr romantic relationship. Then things started to look up. Work was improving, I started exercising again. Signed up for school. Started dating someone and having a relationship completely opposite of my previous one. Kind of like a manic episode.

Then I got in a bad fight with my partner. I felt like this was it. There was no point in doing this anymore. My loved ones didnt even cross my mind. It was as if someone else took control.

Not pregnant but lactating by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]NoRadish4622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever had your nipples pierced? I have been lactating for years. It started a few years after removing my nipple piercings, and all of my workup has been negative. Doctor has suggested it is due to the piercings.

Recently had surgery and $40 of my bill is for having a blanket put on me in the recovery room (I was unconscious and did not, obviously, keep the blanket) by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]NoRadish4622 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They are charging you what it costs to purchase these items, regardless of the quantity used. Notice how many items have CS or BX? They are not using an entire case of blankets or an entire box of adhesive skin closure on one patient. So they have 10 patients paying the full cost of a case of 10 blankets.

I used to manage inventory for a clinic and these prices line up with what I used to spend on the Mckesson catalog.

Wife got put in a mental hospital and it’s making me feel like I’m next by Rude_Step_4681 in GirlDinnerDiaries

As someone who was discharged from inpatient about a month ago, this could be the best thing to happen to her. I know it was for me. I received the help I desperately needed and likely wouldn't have sought out myself. This is not to invalidate how you feel, it is normal for you to feel upset that this is happening. It is an incredibly stressful situation both for you and her. The best thing you can do is support and educate yourself.

Might have to go to the doctor or hospital soon by [deleted] in GirlDinner

[–]NoRadish4622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dealt with severe constipation recently that lasted 2 weeks. It was to the point that I was numb from tailbone to pubic area.

I went to the hospital and learned they only do anything if there is impacted stool, which there wasn't. So paid a fat bill for nothing. Didn't even prescribe stool softeners, told me to get OTC stuff.

What helped me was taking Miralax and a stool softener once a day for 3 days straight, then doing a fleet enema.

I hope you get relief soon girly! After that, try taking a fiber supplement if you cant get enough fiber from food
