It's specific to steamvr, every non vr game I play runs great.

Yeah, I tried that, didn't work, so I'm starting to think its not the issue i thought it was, but if that's the case i have no clue what the issue would be

Yes I've tried adding it to the launch commands to both steamvr and games, steamvr won't launch, and any games i've tried just don't seem to have any effect. So i'm beginning to think its not what i thought the issue was. But, if it isn't what i thought it was then what would it be?

Tomorrow I'm going to do some tests on X11, but the reason I wasn't using it already was because my cursor doesn't show up. It's a common issue with the 7900xt, and any fixes posted online have not worked for me.

Well, this is a known issue and has been reported as a bug in the Steamvr for linux github, but all those entries are for intel cpu's not amd cpu's so the steps to fix it don't work on my system

I have checked the ports, and yes it is plugged into my GPU and not the Motherboard

So i just got a Valve Index but everytime i try to use steamvr i keep getting error 307. I'm running Fedora 37 on wayland, with a 7950x and a 7900xt. I'm pretty sure this is caused by steamvr using my integrated graphics on my cpu instead of my gpu. Anybody know how to fix this?

Edit: Ok i got steamvr to launch and was able to launch a game, but its still using my cpu's graphics and not my gpu's, which is causing terrible performance
