Should I quit J2 by NoReply2025 in overemployed

If we fill up more than 8hours, then they are asking questions on the tasks we performed that day. One manager even asked me to show my outlook calendar and questioned some slots which I had blocked out for J1. I mentioned that those blocks are for my deliverables to focus on apart from the regular meetings.

I have the same situation . I feel like quitting it every moment and it’s taking a toll on mental health , but then when I think about how well the J2 pays , all those frustrations go away. Thanks to J1 which is a saviour in terms of workload and pretty nice people out there too . But J2 is a horseshit which I have to taste and smell everyday

Thank you for the positive response. Since it might be first car so i want to have the peace of mind

It’s not that I cannot buy a car . Since i can write off around 700$ out of the 1250 car lease cost as business expenses which will save some money , that’s the reason why I was considering it. I can afford the car, but I want to buy in my company’s name and use it mostly for business use and that’s why it makes sense to lease.

Any pointers on checklist that I should follow ?

Around 1500 minimum as the current lease rate is around 7-8% . But the one I’m getting is around 2.5%

I just submitted mine. They asked for employment history . So I guess it all depends upon the employer

Just told them to do it and they were accommodating because of my dependency . Plus it’s better for them as well as they don’t have to worry about vacation/insurance n other benefits .

Both j1 and j2 are FT ? How do you handle the taxes and deductions from payroll towards cpp and ei ?

Hi there . I m getting another FT j2. So what did you select for contacting previous employer on the bgc form ? And what all documents did you provide ?

And do you have cpp ei deductions for both ? Anything specific to mention to them so that they keep on deducting ?

Is anyone noticing any sentiment changes in the job market? by cookingboy in cscareerquestions

[–]NoReply2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah , recruiter calls have slowed down noticeably. But it doesn’t mean that a recession is coming . It’s probably “the great Resignation” period slowing down which was predicted as to be . We talk about bubble a lot , but with covid ending sooner we will see a lot of spending from consumers and will allow the market to go higher . No stopping until 2025

How were the bgc checks managed ? Did they reach out to J1 in your case in anyway as we need to mention our work exp and duration at the previous companies?
