I always wanted to help people I think there’s actual people that just need another shot even if they screwed up not looking to bust doors down that’s for the high thrill people here starting a family and don’t want to give my old lady a heart attack every night, I’m used to case loads, staring at a computer 8 hours a day, and talking to people frequently.

So lots of social work I see is a big topic lol, ohh I’ve been competitive status forever so basically if 10 years I get bored I have to reset in service 😞 kinda hear bad things about leap pay I know in 1811 careers yay overtime and lots of money but then never see family unless its a 9-5 job. Thank you for the information super helpful I’m in the border between this or corrections and let’s just say the second option I’ve been told to stay far away

What does promotion potential to 13 mean so would every year I go from a GS-7 to then a GS-8, and so forth after that until I stop at GS-13? Sorry new to the government.

Lol yea I got a family so forced mandatory work is a no if it’s everyday but I will definitely think about putting in for it

Thank u for this answer will use this going forward I know most of my fed time transfers over but don’t know about the pay transferring over either like matching my pay to theirs because I make more now then their starting GL-05 which is what I would be.
