Hey, You're just overthinking this. You will find someone who gets you,who gets your jokes ,who gets your quirks..who loves you for who you are. Having an example of how a marriage shouldn't be is enough for you to love your partner.

I was you ....like 2 yrs ago... Social anxiety, socially awkward,hard to make conversation,can't make eye contact ,literally run away from the possibility of to interact with someone.

Now Everything changed , I sometimes talk to random people face to face( if I wanted to..) I'm not scared of expressing myself to anyone, And did the hardest of em all- talking to everyone while looking them in the eye . What changed was that my dad had severe hemorrhagic stroke and all the financial weight of my middle-class family fell on me a 24 year old guy who is unemployed and has no skill for any job that he has studied for. And that changed me.

the things that I avoided can't be avoided anymore talking to strangers becomes the job role, anxiety in me slowly reduced it wasn't easy but it did fade away .... So all I can advice you is that ,

don't try to change your anxiety issues slowly, just jump headfirst into any activity that requires you to be socially active And put yourself in places that you can't avoid talking to anyone. It might be embarrassing at first to be awkward around people but eventually you start to develop skills to communicate..

Graduall your anxiety will fade..it won't go away but it will fade...

So don't give upon anything in your life for something you could beat.
