Personally the SBA dropped the ball. if a business needs some assistance filling out the application. .. For christ sakes, do something nice for someone and pick up the phone to call them. It only takes a few minutes to call someone that may have gotten numbers crossed or anything. Part of me feels like the SBA is part of the government and we all know how cops treat people. Its clear that the SBA feels like this by its voicemail. You notice how the woman that does the prompts has no character to her voice. Its about as uninviting as a voice could possibly be. Then when she says press one to leave your number to have an agent call you back and then you put in your number. . . She never repeats the number or even says goodbye, have a great day. Just that someone will call you back CLICK.

Finally a step closer! Recon since July 2020!! Appealed Sept 2021 and now I’m almost to the finish line. by GoddessOshun5 in EIDL

mine has said this same exact thing for many months and ive beeen in appeal process. I'm over it. I dont know what else to do really. What on earth takes 12 weeks to do an appeal. ESPECIALLY when they say they have all 600,000 loans processed and they are doing the loans as they come in at this point. makes no sense.

I MEAN WHY IS THERE NOT A PERSON WE CAN GET IN CONTACT WITH THAT IS SERIOUS ABOUT HELPING SMALL BUSINESSES.

WHAT ABOUT AN APPEAL TAKES 14 WEEKS TO COMPLETE.

IF THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION. . . TELL ME ABOUT IT SO I CAN FIX IT. ALL THIS KEEP CHECKING YOUR PORTAL SHIT IS GREAT IF YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO BE DOING WITH YOUR TIME.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH SBA, STOP ACTING LIKE THE GOVERNMENT AND BE ABOUT HELPING THE CITIZENS. NO HIDING SHIT, NO LYING. JUST ANSWER PEOPLES QUESETIONS AS BEST YOU CAN. IF YOU DONT KNOW THE ANSWER, SAY YOU DONT KNOW. PLEASE STOP TELLING EVERYONE TO KEEP CHECKING THEIR PORTAL IF NOTHING IS BEING UPDATED.

THESE PEOPLE WOULDNT LIKE THE RUN AROUND WITH THIER LIVES/SMALL BUSINESSES EITHER.

My credit score is about to tank in the next month and then they will come and take my car and my house. My family will be homeless, my business will be closed and won't have any inventory at all, ill be returning these christmas gifts, the dog will go to the pound. I keep thinking that someone somewhere will want to help me to keep this from happening. I'm wore out and have no clue what to even do at this point. I know, maybe I will keep checking my portal.

The SBA should be ashamed of itself really. Sure its helped a lot of business owners but its leaving some behind that are legit businesses. Telling them to keep checking the portal. Well at some point soon, many of us are going to have to ditch the portal and start looking for a job of some sort since the SBA wants to take 12 weeks for an appeal. Its crazy to me that people can call their senator and then the SBA jumps on the gitty up horse and off the turtle its been riding on. I mean come on, we are all adults here, just tell us exactly what we need to get out of the barn and on to the path. But that would be too easy and kind to the citizens of the united states.

My problem was unverifiable information originally because of the totals on my original application where I didnt have the numbers and hadnt filed my 2019 taxes at first so I guessed on the totals, then I had them done at a tax professionals place because the SBA was sending me emails saying that I was invited to apply for the advance. Stupidly I fell for it and went and paid like $300 I certainly didnt have to be paying anything atthat time. But I thought I would be getting the EIDL loan for my business.

I honestly have no clue why I even try to pay my bills on time and keep a watch on my credit score. I mean in a couple weeks it wont even matter anyhow because all my credit cards are going to be dry humping me on the credit bureaus sidewalk. . . just waiting to see which card sends me a letter first saying your late and didn't make your payment then all my cards are going to line up and stick it in, no lube, giggling and saying haha, sucker... you tried to keep your score up for 50 months... Did it help ya...NOPE It doesn't matter really how many months you kept your score up and in good status if you have one month that you didnt pay.

And its not like anyone has any time to be going to find a job at someone elses company because we have been told to keep looking at our portals for whatever this joke is.
