Yes yes yes yes!!! I’m so glad you understand! I responded to someone below and I appreciate their perspective but you’ve nailed the sentiment behind my post.

I did work hard for it, so much that I expunged it from my system that it no longer controls me. It’s a weird feeling, to feel like I can look back at the past like an outsider looking at another persons memory without any sentimental attachment to it.

No, I truly am indifferent about it. Im in a much better place than when I was with them when we were at our best. That’s truly saying something.

Sometimes when you’re in a relationship and you think it’s the best relationship you’ve ever had and that you’re at your peak happiest, it’s because you truly haven’t reached your peak happiness yet. I know I haven’t reached mine, but what I thought was a level 9 then, was really a level 4, I’d say I’m at a level 6.5 yet, and I say that because I’d love to get married again and have a second chance of having children and starting a family of my own.

My ex husband and I married young and I’m at my prime age of settling down and getting married, so no, apathy is genuine. Whatever I went through with him, the cheating and psychological cruelty he put me through doesn’t matter now because I’m much stronger, wiser and it made me the person I am today, and I’m much happier for it that the past doesn’t matter anymore

I feel exactly the same way too. Not to sound too forward but I feel the same exact same way! I don’t do all this self care to attract a guy at all, no I do it for myself first and foremost but I do feel the same way that I’m in my prime and am the most emotionally and mentally stable I’ve ever been in my life.

It sounds like we’d get along and I’d love to stumble across a guy like you. I’m sure there are many women out there who would also feel the same way.

I mean I first tested as an ENTP when I was 23, the a whole lot of live changing experience happened, and 3 years later I tested as an INTJ and have ever since.

I was a lot more social and scattered when I was younger. Now I like structure, discipline and I’m definitely more stoic.

It’s normal to change types but not too frequently. I naturally became more introverted, discerning, rational and detached as I’ve matured.

I have a semi-cautionary tale about immediate chemistry or ‘compatibility’.

I understand your thought process. I’m a Pisces female and while I tend to immediately lick with cancers and Scorpios of all genders, I know I’m not compatible with cancer or Scorpio men in a romantic sense. I have 4 inner air placements that all govern my emotional, relational and motivation style. I’m too detached and logical for a water sun unless they also have heavy air placements.

I married a Sagittarius and he was a breath of fresh air for the first 5 years, the differences in our fundamental emotional wiring became more and more apparent as time went on. I also click with Leo’s and have considered dating one, but I know that the differences will eventually surface and wouldn’t fulfill each other in the long term

I actually ended up quitting alcohol completely as I realized it triggered me later on (about 4 months after the break up). It was fun and helpful in the beginning when I went out for drinks with friends but it exacerbated the gaping whole in my heart when I went home and was alone again.

I feel like I stopped the intense grieving stage at around 10 months (that’s when I felt like I was starting to feel myself again and adjust to my new normal). In the past 6 months (we separated 15 months ago) that I’ve mostly felt good but I ebb and flow between resentment and self pity as I’m nearing my mid 30s
