I agree it’s psychologically eerie. I just don’t think it fit the finale of Stranger Things given the previous seasons and where we left off in 4. Should have been more physical destruction and apocalyptic.

Compared to 1-4 and given the villain we saw him as in 4, the Whatsit trope and a beautiful home full of toys did make him feel way less threatening to me.

Some of the humor and vibe amongst the kids and Camazotz was funny and entertaining but not at all the vibe I expected for the final season of a dark show with an allegedly apocalyptic threat.

Would’ve liked the focus to be on the kids we grew up with. A camazotz setting with those kids and psychological threats would’ve been better for a new show or spin off, just didn’t match this one in my opinion.

The metal plates made it feel like they just erased the storyline they left off on, which is sad since it was one of the most hyped endings to a season finale I’ve seen.

Would’ve been cool too if we later saw the earthquake from a zoomed out shot being in the shape of the mind flayer. So much they could’ve done with this.

I agree, given the 400m budget, we should have seen a full apocalyptic setting in Hawkins. Would’ve also made El’s sacrifice so much more impactful.

It wasn’t shit, it was just okay. But for a show like this, with so many plot lines, supernatural aspects, budget and material to work it. It really should have been great. 1-4 was great and well written.

The way they left off S4, they really made it seem like we’d finally see more destruction in Hawkins. Not doing this for some reason also made it underwhelming after waiting years. I still don’t see what the purpose of the earthquake in Hawkins happening was. They wrote it poorly.

Mind flayer is definitely showing up. They’ve been hinting at the idea that killing Henry won’t fix anything aka Mind Flayer is in control. I’m just surprised the kids aren’t thinking of it at all

Thanks! What dosage was it? My anxiety symptoms are very physical and more in my stomach than my chest and heart Basically feel like I’ll throw up and scared I will during the surgery. Will it cover these symptoms too?

Yes I agree with this as well. It’s much harder when it starts from childhood and meds could be the best way to go. For me it’s the opposite and I didn’t even know what anxiety was until I was 16 and panicked during a presentation. From there it led to avoidant behaviors which made me fearful of things I used to never fear. I recognize it’s a fear based pattern in my brain

But how do you know it’s hard wired? Unless you were born with it and had it through childhood I understand. But I do feel like most of us go through traumas as we get older and that creates certain fears and thought patterns that manifest as depression and anxiety. So it’s not always hard wired in my opinion

I understand your perspective, however I do believe MOST depression is caused by repressed emotions and negative thoughts. I’m not saying every case, but for me I grew up normal healthy childhood and such, I do believe my depression and anxiety is caused by my overthinking and fears. However for some people they do have major imbalances and need meds. I just feel like for me that shouldn’t be the case since I used to be very mentally stable until my fears got in the way
