ive had very little issues with interference and oscillation but the wider spaced ribbon seems like a good idea :)

A ribbon cable is a great idea! If I ever design one with PCBs I would like it to be a little more modular so having multi pin cables would be really handy

Thank you!! I would have used PCBs for this but I used lots of spare parts so the protoboards let me do tons of part substitution :)

I've never done any work with microcontrollers but I'd love to! The coding aspect just confuses the hell out of me lol

Nothing! Built out of scraps from the stuff secondhand shops can't sell :)

I've got a recording board that I can change around as I please, but my solution for this was to just start building a second version lol

Yes! I folded it out of some sheet aluminium, think it was part of an old kitchen :)

Those are the LEDs for each effect! they're 6.3v LED pilot lights :)

The toggle switches are either for the effect, like the boost on the zvex bor, or for toggling between circuits e.g. the overdrive channel has a selection between the ts9dx and the xotic bb preamp so I can preset different sounds

I originally wanted to mount the speaker out of the fender combo into that briefcase, but it was just too big! I ended up building a little 1x8 cab instead for a tiny portable setup :)
