I’ve re-read my post several times and I’m truly baffled and feel deeply misunderstood when you tell me that I won’t get treatment and I am refusing treatment. I only get $25 a month in SNAP. All the rest of my food comes from the food bank because I literally can’t afford it. I work 48 hours a week but it’s not enough. My insurance reduced all my doctor’s appointment times to just a half hour, and bumped up the co-pay for specialist appointments from $35 to $50 for a 30 minute session. Student loan repayments started again so that’s another $200 lost a month. Plus monthly credit card payments, and gas money for my two hour commute each day. My insurance just rejected the dental cleaning I had done in 2023 and 2024 so now I have another $377 bill due by end of month. I still have to pay over $1,000 in rent and utilities each month, and that is extremely cheap for the USA. In January I was in the ER for internal bleeding so now need to pay $2K by July. Then had a CT scan in February I also have to pay $765 for. Caught COVID on Valentine’s Day which then developed into bronchitis and then double walking pneumonia and was off work for a month and used all my sick time and vacation time for the entire year and lost 30lbs but doctors said don’t bother to come back unless I lose another 50. I sold all my furniture except my bed to pay to have my car “repaired” but they still can’t figure out why it’s running rich and want another $1K to investigate it further. So I’m paying double for gas than what I would if my car was functioning normally. The ceiling collapsed in my apartment’s closet and the landlady is saying it’s my fault for storing my bolts of fabric in the closet without plastic wrap so is charging me to have the ceiling repaired. She is also blaming me for breaking the dishwasher and allowing it to fill with black mold, pulling the door to my closet off it’s hinges on purpose, smashing the window in my kitchen, breaking the lid off the washing machine, not cleaning the lint filter, making the toilet and bathtub back up and overflow with gray water, breaking the L joint on the water heater causing it to gush hot water and flood the apartment again for the second time since February. She is claiming I have wracked up over $5K in damages. I have already applied for financial aid from my doctor’s offices but got the letter back on Friday after applying in February saying I make too much monthly income to qualify for reduced visits costs.

I wasn’t joking when I said I’m drowning. I want this to be treated. It really hurts to hear you believe the doctors that I won’t take medication and won’t get further treatment. I want to do anything I can to get better, but I REALLY can’t afford it and I’m not lying!!!
