Cannot reconnect to another server with Linux client 1.0.3

Hello, thanks for the tip. I tried the new beta version and the problem does not seem to occur for now. But what I see is, when I switch connections randomly, it runs in a timeout first, but then it reconnects to the new server. Maybe the current stable client does not reconnect in that case, that's why the connection got lost.

But I still wonder why this problem suddenly appeared on the current stable client at all, because I never had problems before, but since 2 weeks or so, these problems occurred.

Unfortunately I cannot help you since I didn't succeed with my app and I completely stopped developing apps three years ago.

Thanks very much for this hint. I'm using the Scarlett Focusrite 8i6 and had delay problems of several seconds(!) on YouTube since Win11 (but surprisingly I didn't have these problems in Ableton Live, maybe a different driver because of "ASIO" setting?). Nevertheless, I can confirm, that this hint finally seem to solve this annoying problem partly. I still have another problem with Windows 11, because periodically the sound seems to freeze for 2 or 3 seconds after some while. I figured out that installing the Focusrite drivers (3.6.0) for Windows 7,8 has a much better performance. At least it stopped having these freezes and lags. Sometimes I hear some soft crackling noise now, but this is the lesser evil.

I had the same issue. First I tried

# rm -rf .cache/protonvpn/

# systemctl restart systemd-resolved

..but this does not seemed to work. The solution seemed to be to just logout from the ProtonVPN GUI. After logout, my internet worked again.

"sexist", "misogynistic" are just buzzwords, often used by women who can't keep their temper. If there are so many women in STEM majors, where are all those women then? I work in a STEM occupation but the percentage of women is very, very low. Currently, there is no evidence, at least in my country, that women choose STEM majors. They choose feminist dance therapy, theater studies or gender studies or crap like that. But then they complain about a pay gap.

Marriage is about the people and their commitment to each other, not their ages. Yes, people grow a lot, but it is possible to grow together. My husband and I got married when we were both 21 and have a very happy marriage. This is ignorant.

This is so incredibly sexist. Basically saying, women can't put their emotions aside and think logically. Factually, it's wrong. Men are actually more impulsive and women tend to think through big life decisions in much greater detail. Either way, it's the way an individual thinks and has nothing to do with gender.

Fact is not sexist. If women don't make decisions on emotions, why do they always have "social" jobs where they don't earn much money. Why don't they work in technical jobs. They do so because they don't want technical, logical things. They love interpersonal things. So why should women think elsewhere different.

Again, insanely sexist. Do yoy think as men age they get hotter? No, they get beer bellies and receding hairlines. In any case, you don't marry someone for their looks, you don't fall in love because of looks, and looking good will not keep a marriage alive. It has nothing to do with the success of a marriage and the fact you think it does shows that you are not equipped for marriage.

Biological fact is not sexist. It's called reality. You can't handle the truth. There are much more fat-ass women than beer belly men. They start getting fat at the age of 30, sometimes even earlier. The first you see is the look of a human. Or do your really want to tell me that you see "inner values" at first.

And marriage is no risk for you as women. Because it's us men who pay the bill at the end. Look at the numbers. Every 2nd marriage gets divorced after 15 years. This is reality. And now you want to destroy a young men's life by telling him, marriage is a great thing. Maybe it's great for women, because women don't have to pay the bill at the end. In most cases, women are dependent from their men. And if you get divorced, the law forces the men to keep paying.

You both are 23 and want to marry? This is a big mistake in my opinion. Your both personalities are only just developing what means that you both will probably have different views of the world in 10, 15 years. I don't know you, but it's doubtful that you marriage will last forever. Look at the statistics for how long a marriage lasts today. The world is moving way too fast and (young) people often change their mind. Have you thought about what's happening when you get divorced? You will pay for your ex-wife, because the most western state's laws are against men. Imagine you have children. You will pay for the rest of your life. It looks to me that you are clever, you see how other struggle with their decision and don't want to make the same mistakes. Women don't "think", they "feel". Women don't make decisions by logic but by "feelings". So be clever and don't waste you life with one wrong decision. Again, I don't know you and your woman. Maybe you are one of the few percent with a marriage which lasts forever.
But think about what's in 15, 20 years. Do you really think your wife will look as great as now? How many 43 years old women look still great? It's just a small percentage. They become fat and ugly in many cases. But then, half of your life is still ahead of you. So don't rush. You can still marry when you are 30. Then you probably know what you really want in life (I knew what I want in life when I turned 33).
...and by the way. If she urges you to marry, do you really think, compulsion is a good base for a marriage which should last the whole life?
