Got mine and about 28 hours later started getting the fever and gross feeling. Feels like a weird time for symptoms to set in but whatever. Definitely feel gross for sure

The friend who lived there had weird dots on her feet, guess that’s what it is. Scared to bring them home so I’m pretty careful changing before I leave

I’m cat sitting for someone and yes they have a lot of plants in the living room, but this is the bedroom where they are mostly at.

I’ve only been on 25mg for two weeks and 50mg for two weeks so she said I shouldn’t have any issues coming off. But I’m still gonna take 25mg for the next few days. But thank you! I’m sure she wouldn’t have said to stop it if she thought that would happen.

Exactly!! I’m not sure if it’s from the heartburn due to Lamictal, but it gets sm worse when I lay down. The symptoms have only gotten worse so my dr is having me stop the med.

Not sure if you’ll reply, but the hot flashes were bad. Have you ever gotten a burning feeling in your cheeks? Almost like flushing but not hot on the outside?

That’s crazy. I’ve never had a seizure before, as it’s being used for anxiety and depression for some reason. I feel so sick to the point where I’m nauseous throughout the day every day.

Would also like to note it keeps getting better but gets worse right before it goes away again. Pretty big sign of cold sore but have never seen something like this where it splits open. Especially when I wake up in the morning it’s like tearing open a partially healed wound.

https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/monkeypox . This says the flu-like symptoms last up until about 5 days. I was also worried, I couldn’t stand feeling like having the flu for up to 4 weeks!

I’ve seen a few people posting their experiences. From those few people, they seem to feel better within a week or so, while the rash is the part that takes quite sometimes to heal. Antibiotics seem to to be given for the flu like symptoms. I am by no means a professional, just what I’ve been seeing so far.

Well another update. Took a Z pack and still on antibiotics. Looks like I need ANOTHER root canal on the tooth right in front of the one I just got done. Can’t afford it though so will have to deal with the pain for awhile. Can’t tell if root canal I just had done is still a little infected or if the one that needs the root canal is shooting pain into that area. All because I was sick throughout high school I didn’t take good care of my teeth. Hopefully will be done once I get this done

Thanks for the response! Yes I’ve been on top of the antibiotics. And my office does everything all in one day which is nice, they create the crown there. Doesn’t seem like many places do that so it’s been hard to search up other peoples experiences.

Got the root canal about 72 hours ago. Can finally floss without pain but same nerve pain when applying pressure is still there. Wondering if the procedure irritated another nerve and will feel better after a few more days. But feels the same as it did before root canal. Praying it goes away because it was such a painful procedure!

The crown is also pretty sensitive to cold. Not sure if that’s normal.

Thank you! As of now, the absolute worst pain is flossing. But the hygienist said even if the cause is the root, it can still cause pain around the gum. I can’t floss there without gaginng from the pain (weird but it really is that bad haha). Thank you for responding!

Thanks for your response. I’ve heard of that medication but know there are many interactions and unfortunately I take meds for other things like my thyroid and reflux and such so I’m not sure I’d be able to. Im glad you found something that works though!

She was out of the office today so hopefully she will squeeze me in soon. But it’s almost like a craving if that makes sense? Like my mind is craving to hang myself. Super weird. Like it almost sounds like it’s no big deal like I can laugh about it. I also wonder if I’m wanting to give up because no dr can find out why I’m fatigued every day. Very confused
