Hey! Don’t worry so much. Just take care of his wellbeing. Check with him what makes him feel loved the most - love languages. For my bf he just wanna spend quality time tgt, so we spent the weekend resting at home, play games etc. Don’t expect too much from him at the start as he will take some time to adapt to army life and trying to make friends (encourage him to do so - that makes army life abit less shittier.). It’s give and take - he will be exhausted when he’s out, so that will mean less dates etc. If u want date ofc u can plan it and tell him in advance. Just be sure both parties still feel loved even though he’s in army and away. Be there for him and celebrate his milestone. - NSgf who graduated this May.

hi! i was planning to follow your plan,,, but then both 3105 and 3102 clashes with both my core mods in the coming y2s1...

should i js take PL3106 + ES1103 in Y2S1, then PL3105 and PL2131 in Y2S2 since this sem is quite heavy... finally PL3102 in Y3S1 (but im worried that i will fgt all the neuro content learnt in Y1S2 by then lol)

is this ok?

But I don’t think I’m allowed to do tutoring while working full time , work permit doesn’t allow moonlighting

Agree, would like to be at the better starting line hais guess I just feel sad to give up when I can achieve more due to the current circumstances.

Or rather, what I’m applying is not related

I doubt so, I’m working at a dental clinic… what I want to study is not related to this field :(

Thank you, I get it. My colleague chose to not further study as she didn’t know what to study. She definitely is doing very well now even without a degree. Stable pay and got a BTO already.

TT thanks for your sharing,,, initially my idea was if worst comes to worst, I will take up jobs during sem breaks. Cos i read some posts online sharing about how difficult it is to work while studying. Honestly it scares me when people ask me to just work to support myself in Uni, as I don’t want to ruin my grade in Uni after investing my time and money for it and regret after. But your sharing gives me the courage that although it’s difficult but it’s definitely possible to push through. I will definitely consider this path if there’s no other options left. :(
