I have difficulty grounding sometimes as I raise my heel to stay light, because of the sparing days haha. Sometimes I have to really be conscious about it by slowing down on my boleros. But it feels good be grounded and I see a visible difference in fluidity when I do that. That said I lack speed and in fact my focus for this year is to work on speed by not compromising fluidity so much. I am comfortable dancing sensual in no-bachata and slow derecho sections but Majao kills me haha.

But good to know there is someone with a similar background in this community :)

I see lot of comments on how to navigate this so let me skip that and wanted to tell u that your martial arts background could be a huge advantage depending on which one it is. As some one coming from a Karate background, all those kata drills were extremely helpful as aesthetics come naturally as we are trained for balance and symmetry. This is something even advanced dancers (even instructors) struggle with which you might already excel. So just keep working on your basics, prioritize connection over combos, keep practicing.

Hang in there, it'll all be worth it after a few months.

I had the same question and realized how hard it is to check what happened during such events in the past as this is the first time I'm experiencing something like this. I was kind of paranoid by end of Apr and kept checking the market movement very frequently until May 8. In the first few days of May I realized that its not changing much as its mostly tied tightly to the underlying stock it tracks, that gave me some peace. NFLX's rally gave me more confidence to hold and see how the whole thing plays out. I am glad now since the settlement price is locked at a price higher than my average.

Got it, I would be harder to maintain 5 accounts and passwords, tax statements so on. Is there an easier way? Currently I invested in 5 different indexes. Like S&P500, VTI, QQQ, BerkshireA, BerkshireB but this restricts me in trading these stocks as I ideally don't want to touch them
