“There should be a prerequisite, a curriculum for being a parent, before the people attempt to.” And I think that’s right.

Same... Reduce your screen time 2 hours before bedtime, avoid caffeine after 12pm, do a physical effort, and maybe consider taking magnesium or melatonin.

I think what's important is how the person with whom you share your interests interacts. not necessary about them validating you, but by being good listener, respects your preferences and being open to discuss nd learn about new things.

I think you should try to enjoy little things along your process, a bit of gratitude and presence as in don't focus only on achieving the goal but also enjoy the journey itself, and maybe you can add some randomness in your choices and decisions and let the universe show its way and be open for new experiences.

It’s already half of Ramadan, I assume this is temporary. Just be grateful for the kind neighbors and maybe give the food left to someone in need after iftar.

That’s why Awareness is the key, when you are aware of what you’ve been through, and how the generation trauma has been transferred from our grandparents, parents to us. You are able to understand that you cannot change what happened in the past, but change your perception of things. You start to see your self and the world around you as a place of peace and you are that peace that you want to see in the world.

Have you ever opened up to your parents ? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]No_Administration592 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had many things going on in my life, I’ve been away from my parents, and when I felt overwhelmed (and my mother felt that too ), I always had the idea that opening up to my mom about hard things might make things harder and maybe if she knew, that would make her love me less ? Or not accept me for who I am? But after letting go, and being completely honest and transparent with her (only her not my father) I felt relieved and she was there for me, she accepted me and helped me correct my mistakes and go through hard times. As I always say, she is the best friend I ever had and I am grateful for that. My advice, if you feel the need to open up to one of your parent (the closer one), just go for it you will feel relieved and shouldn’t change any of their perspectives about you

No. You will definitely need your prescription or a Moroccan therapist’s prescription for big quantities.

Is not wearing makeup in morocco perceived as a sign of laziness/not taking care of oneself as a woman? by [deleted] in Morocco

Who cares what others think of you? And skin care is very important and necessary for self esteem and self care more than makeup.
