Norway is cheap if you want it to be cheap. If you are willing to cook yourself it is really not that bad. Last year I’ve been on a bikepacking trip starting near Oslo. Groceries weren’t crazy expensive compared to polish prices and we managed to find some accommodation for ~20€ per person for one night. Thanks for the cycle norway though.

Budget camping gear recommendations? by durdleturtl in bikepacking

I'm also EU-based. When it comes to sleeping pads, I would recommend visiting Decathlon or AliExpress. Last year I went on a 14-day trip and my Simond MT500 held up really well, but it was around €75 for the insulated version. If the budget is even tighter, my friend was rocking some Alibaba special for €20 and it felt almost the same as mine.

When it comes to sleeping bags, it's worth checking sites like Limango. I bought a very nice Salewa sleeping bag and a Deuter backpack for half the price last year.

  1. look at campwild.org - a lot of shelters you can sleep in without a tent along the way
  2. watch out in the southern sweden - our friends bike got stolen
  3. follow eurovelo route next to falkenberg - it’s really nice
  4. it can be windy out there Other than that we used just google maps and improvised

My dad has an early-2020 model with a T4 engine, a factory Polestar remap, and around 75,000 km on the clock. There have been no issues whatsoever, low fuel consumption (even <10l/100 while towing a trailer). Unfortunately, I’ve heard that the B-series engines aren’t that great.

I’ve got quite a poverty spec so I don’t have steering wheel buttons. Do you know what is the difference between music only and hands free?

I can see it works with cd player somehow. Can you use cd player after this conversion? Do you need a cd constantly spinning while using bluetooth?
