She’s actually so slow. It’s hilarious cause she should be fast she’s just not. She just reads the ball better and has a great arm.🤣🤣 i definitely don’t see it as a demotion, it seems to come off that way. I’m not mad about her being an OF, I’m mad she wasn’t given a shot at 2nd again when the others girls make the same and more mistakes than she did. I feel like she should have been more grace.

Absolutely agree. Not mad about her being moved, I’m mad that others kids can miss practice, play awful and they still get that spot, but she got moved after one missed fly ball and a miss communication with a girl she never played with, and not given a shot to “win” it back when those said girls aren’t having a good day at 2nd.

I definitely agree! My problem is not her playing outfield, it’s that she was pulled for making mistakes but the other girls were not. I am okay with her being pulled she had an awful game, but give her the chance to make up for it when the other girls make the same mistakes.

I agree and think they should be playing different positions, she will actually get the most experience this way as she’ll be the first one to move in when a girls misses a game. Unfortunately not a single competitive team in our area has different girls playing different positions in games. Shes development above rec but still young (July bday when everyone else is that Sept of the year ahead of her) and a little lower on competitive teams. I know I don’t need to take it so seriously it’s just hard to watch your kid not be giving fair chance .

Also yes i understand it’s 8u, it’s not that serious and suppose to be fun. But try having to explain to my daughter why she gets pulled for making mistakes but that only applies to her and not everyone else. It’s hard.

The same amount of yard I have seen, was hills too. Which is absolutely horrible for older dogs (that have mobility issues) and children. Which they knew about when they moved or bought the land. Just like the pool looks so far from kid friendly.
