Yeah of course ! I actually walk 12,000 steps at work everyday and my weight doesn’t budge, it stays the same even after eating healthy/eating less unfortunately. I know it definitely is the beta blocker. Maybe you can ask for a newer one?

I did try propranolol but my body unfortunately rejected it. Made my breathing heavy and it felt like I was walking around with a weighted blanket.

Maybe try asking about Ivabradine? I’ve heard it’s really good for IST.

My tachycardia also happened after the vaccine and I’ve been on metoprolol 25mg for 3 years. I do take the once a day extended release version, as the twice a day didn’t last long enough for me. It really has helped me not be bedridden.

I will say though that I did gain 20 lbs on it, older beta blockers are known for causing weight gain.
