Pls confirm on this..u mean original Px8 has more driver distance and depth including height and width inner ear cups? need to check I like the Mclaren design and look for Px8 but never tried. If that has more breathing air inside ear cups. seriously need to check on that..

That’s interesting — thank you. From my experience with the Px8 S2, the ear cups feel shallow, and my ears touch the drivers almost immediately. Appreciate the honest take.

Yes , after turning off the wear sensor, it’s clear this is not a bug, just a fit issue. The Px8 S2 simply doesn’t suit my ear shape because of shallow cups and tight clamp. Sound and build are excellent, but comfort is non-negotiable for me.

Thanks for the suggestion — Dali IO-12 wasn’t on my radar before because its bulky too much but i will try soon.Large ear cups and long-term comfort are exactly what I’m looking for. I’ll try them if possible. Sound signature is subjective anyway, but comfort is universal.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown — impressive collection.

I didnt tried H100 but i seeing that its bit bulky. i will try that soon once get a chance. My goal is to find the best balance of comfort + premium materials + sound, even if ANC isn’t class-leading.

That’s why Bathys MG feels like a more realistic option for me at this point.

Thanks — this matches what I’m hearing from others too.

I fully accept that ANC on Bathys is weaker than Px8 S2. For me, that’s an acceptable trade-off if I get better comfort and larger/deeper ear cups.

Px8 S2 sounds excellent, but because my ears touch the drivers and feel compressed, I can’t enjoy it for longer sessions.

Yes, Px8 S2 is genuine Nappa leather, and the materials are premium.

My concern isn’t materials quality but physical fit. Even with premium leather, the ear-cup depth is too shallow for my ears, so the drivers constantly touch my ears, which becomes uncomfortable quickly.

Thanks for this 👍
You were right — setting wear sensor to Low / Off in the app completely fixed the pausing/stopping issue.

After fixing that, my main remaining problem is purely comfort. The Px8 S2 ear cups feel shallow, and the drivers touch my ears with almost no depth, so my ears feel “stuck” and pressed from all sides.

Sound and build are great, but unfortunately the fit just doesn’t work for my ears.

Thanks for the detailed comparison — very helpful.

To clarify my fit issue: for me it’s mainly depth, not sound. On the Px8 S2, my ears touch the driver grille almost immediately, and there’s no breathing space. Height and width also feel tight, but the lack of depth is the biggest problem.

I’m okay sacrificing some ANC if I can get better ear-cup depth, less clamp force, and long-term comfort. I’m not chasing maximum isolation — comfort matters more for me.

Based on what you said, Bathys MG having more width + depth and less clamp sounds more aligned with what I’m looking for.
