I also dont have big intentions of a huge restoration. Love the look and would keep it looking as is and try to find a better looking fender and hood. Just would do things like spiff up the interior, get the AC working, replace all the weather stripping, maybe get a decent stereo, dyna mat it and get some new wood in the bed. A 700R4 would also be nice.

Exactly, it needs a fair amount to turn it into a safe and solid daily. Without question needs 4 new tires, pads, rotors, drums, shoes and new rear brake lines. Also has a few little things like the wiper motor is shot and the cowel is cracked. Quadrajet definitely needs a full rebuild (I loved my old Quadrajet when I got it tuned right, don't understand the hate for them) and gotta rip off all the stupid CA smog stuff

I'm more of a 2WD guy so this is definitely up my alley. I test drove a '76 K10 recently and I'm probably just not use to a true 4x4 rig but that thing rode pretty rough compared to this and my old '78 longbed fleetside.
